I think Graham Potter will be happy.

Out of possession they look hard to break down. When you have a new manager come in and you want to play a certain way it's really draining.

It will take a bit of time, they did it great for 60 minutes, but then Aston Villa's quality showed in the end.

It took Villa a long time and they realised they had to show more energy.

Substitutions made a huge difference and West Ham ran out of ideas.

Ings was only a few yards out but there were plenty of defenders in the way and he was falling as he hit it.

West Ham wanted that to fall to Danny Ings.

Ings cannot sort his feet out.

The initial cross doesn't beat the first man.

But West Ham do eventually chip it into the middle and Danny Ings strikes over after a Robin Olsen punch.

Not done yet Darren. Aaron Cresswell's shot is blocked behind for a corner.

That'll relieve the pressure.

Black shirts flying everywhere.

Danny Ings was going to hit the target and Morgan Rogers is there to clear.

But Aaron Wan-Bissaka makes amends by putting in a decent cross which is flicked on to Danny Ings at the back post.

It's a proper chance for the English striker, but Morgan Rogers is doing his defensive duties and makes a fine block.

The TV cameras are back on Unai Emery. I'm no lipreader but I think he's saying "calm things down" to his players.

They remain very open in midfield, going forward when they can, on the hunt for a third.
