  1. Long wait for an away winpublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time

    Rangers v Dundee Utd (15:45)

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Ibrox

It's been a good while since Dundee United beat Rangers at Ibrox. The names of their goalscorers will give you a clue: Stuart Armstrong, Nadir Ciftci and Gary Mackay-Steven. It was the semi-final of the 2014 Scottish Cup.

The last league win for the Tangerines at this ground is three years older than that: 3-2 in April 2011 against a Rangers team that included goalscorers Steven Naismith and Nikica Jelavic.

  2. Postpublished at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ross County 0-0 Motherwell

Two vital blocks from the Well defence deny Noah Chilvers and Connor Randall.

Much better from the home side.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time

    St Johnstone 0-0 Kilmarnock

Great move by St Johnstone as Graham Carey and Nicky Clark combine before picking out Benjamin Kimpioka for a shot from the edge of the area.

The Swede catches it well but his effort is pushed around the post by Robby McCrorie.

  4. Postpublished at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ross County 0-0 Motherwell

First real effort for County and it's an ambitious one from Ronan Hale, who leathers a wild shot wide.

  5. Aberdeen 'building step by step'published at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time

    St Mirren v Aberdeen (16:00)

Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin tells BBC Sportsound: "You have to adapt, that's football. Things sometimes change quickly; we are ready.

"We know the season is long, with difficult games. We just try to stay where we are right now, focus game by game, and let's see where we are in May.

"You have to stay humble, try to improve all the time. We have to stay focused on the right priorities.

"It's a long-term project. Right now we are in a good place, but nothing has really changed. We try to build step by step so we are strong in the long term.

"They are really organised, quite direct, so we have to be sharp, win second balls and then play our game."

  6. Postpublished at 15:40 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ross County 0-0 Motherwell

County continue to give away daft fouls as Connor Randall trips Tom Sparrow right on the edge of the home box.

This favours a left footer and Andy Halliday takes. He finds Apostolos Stamatelopoulos but his flick-on drifts behind without a finishing touch.

  7. 'Nothing to fear' for St Mirrenpublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time

    St Mirren v Aberdeen (16:00)

St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson tells BBC Sportsound: "Credit to everyone that's put the work in here. If we get a result today, we'll have to dedicate it to them. At one stage it didn't look feasible at all.

"There's no excuses. We just delay everything by an hour.

"[Jimmy Thelin has] come in and adapted to Scotland very well. Credit to the Aberdeen board as well - they have invested heavily and signed some good players.

"We're on a good run of form as well, we're confident. It's nothing we have to fear."

  8. Shortest warm-up ever?published at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time

    Rangers v Dundee Utd (15.45)

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Ibrox

I'm told by the SPFL match delegate that the Dundee United players arrived at Ibrox at 14:59. Just as well kick-off had already been put back to 15:45, though United asked for it to be pushed back further.

Long travel delays mean a very short warm-up. Expect Rangers to start quickly to try to ram home any advantage from their visitors' far from ideal preparation.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time

    St Johnstone 0-0 Kilmarnock

    First yellow of the afternoon.

Kilmarnock defender Robbie Deas goes into the book for a late challenge on Graham Carey.

  10. Postpublished at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ross County 0-0 Motherwell

Motherwell are starting to dominate without really creating anything from open play.

A neat bit of play in midfield wins them another free-kick, which comes to hee-haw.

  11. Dundee United asked for further delay - Goodwinpublished at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time

    Rangers v Dundee (15:45)

Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin tells BBC Sportsound: "The preparation hasn't been ideal. The players have been sat on the bus since 09:30 outside Tannadice.

"We've asked the SPFL and Rangers to try and push it back again but, at the moment, that's not happening. We'll get our players ready as close to [15:45].

"[Staying overnight at a hotel is] not something we do. We stay over when we go to Dingwall. We actually gave ourselves extra time by leaving early. There were accidents on the motorway. I don't want us using this as an excuse.

"We're hoping to show the good form that we've showed in the league so far. It's always been a difficult venue. We certainly believe that we can cause Rangers one or two problems."

  12. Postpublished at 15:31 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ross County 0-0 Motherwell

Andy Halliday is fouled just outside the County box and Lennon Miller is over to place the ball.

This is tasty range for the teenager... But he bends it about a yard wide of the left-hand post.

  13. Buddies unchanged; Nilsen returns for Donspublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time

    St Mirren v Aberdeen (16:00)

St Mirren are unchanged from their 2-1 win at Easter Road before the international break.

Former Rangers left-back Declan John is named on the bench and could make his debut for the Paisley side having signed a short-term deal earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin makes three changes to the side that beat Dundee 4-1 last time out.

Sivert Heltne Nilsen comes into midfield to replace Ante Palaversa, while Shayden Morris and Jamie McGrath start on the wings.

Topi Keskinen and Duk drop to the bench.

Ouch!published at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ross County 0-0 Motherwell

Referee Chris Graham halts play immediately as Dan Casey and Ryan Leak clash heads in the County box.

After a bit of treatment, both are thankfully fine to play on.

  15. Postpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time

    St Johnstone 0-0 Kilmarnock

First chance of the game falls to the hosts.

Graham Carey picks out Mackenzie Kirk with a cross, but the youngster's header goes harmlessly wide.

  16. Postpublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ross County 0-0 Motherwell

As the rain teems down, County mount a bit of pressure with two corners but Motherwell deal with them both.

  17. Postpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time

    St Johnstone 0-0 Kilmarnock

Continuing the throw-in theme... Killie's David Watson has his run-up shortened by a pile of snow lying at the side of the pitch.

His resulting effort lands well short of the front of the six yard box.

  18. Postpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ross County 0-0 Motherwell

Motherwell defender Kofi Balmer gets two chances to use his long throw in quick succession.

    Neither come to anything though.

    Eilidh Davies

We are up and running, despite the inclement weather and technical issues with VAR. A few hardy Well fans have managed to make the long journey north and everyone here is just delighted that this game goes ahead.
