Here are the highlights of the British teams' games this week...
FT: Inter Milan 1-0 Arsenal
Mikel Arteta told the press the he hopes Kai Havertz will be "OK" for their next game on Sunday against Chelsea.
Arteta said: "Kai Havertz had a big cut and hopefully he will be OK for the weekend."
Mikel Merino was substituted off at half-time, but Arteta confirmed Merino was not concussed after the clash with Yann Sommer.
Arteta said: "No, he was not concussed, yesterday he was not feeling great and I decided to take him off as I needed him 100%.

You can see there is a follow-through. On another night the referee might see that as a violent act.
He [referee Istvan Kovacs] was levelling it up and dishing it out to players, but he didn't level up on penalties.
The one against Arsenal is really harsh.

Inter Milan's players were on their knees as Arsenal really pushed them.
Everyone who comes on and off is very similar. Nonetheless Arsenal dominated the whole of the second half, and they can build on that.

They are getting into good areas, Arsenal, around the box, but then it is about the overlaps, underlaps and creating two v ones - I don't think they are doing that enough.

On the penalty decision...
It was a controversial moment. Fine margins. I don't believe it was a penalty and I feel it was really harsh.
Where are you supposed put your arm in that position? Who's made these rules? Have they played the game?
Mikel Merino is so close to Mehdi Taremi and the arm has come up to go into a challenge - it is really harsh.
Merino is preparing to go with his first action and then the ball deflects.

"If you are going to give a penalty, the other one has to be because he punches him in the head.
"There is no deflection, nothing you can do in the box, so can he get away from it. If he is going to give that the other has to be 100% a penalty.
"We should have scored a couple at l;east but the way the team played, that was us at least. Every decision in the box makes a difference.
"The way we played tonight, the team can go to Chelsea and win."

Simone Inzaghi made six changes tonight and we saw him bring on their core players at the end, the likes of Nicolo Barella and Henrikh Mkhitaryan - that's a mark of a great manager.

A defensive masterclass.
Inter were not giving the home fans something to get off their seat. But the way they defended the box, it was top, top stuff from the three centre-backs.
PSG are going out as things stand. Only halfway through the league phase though. It doesn't end until late January.
And here's how things are looking down at the bottom of the league.
Unfamiliar territory for the likes of Atletico Madrid and PSG.
Six sides are still without a win.
Inter Milan and Atalanta are the only two teams yet to concede a goal. Based on tonight's performance, Inter might never concede a goal again.
Here's how things stand at the top of the Champions League table.
Liverpool are the only side with four wins from four games and sit top of the table. I don't reckon many would've predicted the rest of that top eight to look like that at this point.
Manchester City, Aston Villa and Arsenal drop down the table after suffering losses.
Say what you want about the new format, it's sure brought up a couple of shocks and it feels like there's a bit of jeopardy with some of the big teams in unfamiliar positions lower down the table.

Internazionale and Arsenal only met previously in the 2003-04 UEFA Champions League – both games were away wins (Arsenal 0-3 Inter, Inter 1-5 Arsenal).
Arsenal have failed to score in each of their last four away UEFA Champions League games in Italy (D1 L3), with Emmanuel Adebayor the last Gunners player to score there in a 2-0 win over Milan in March 2008.
Although only five teams have faced more shots in the UEFA Champions League this season than Internazionale (53), they have kept three clean sheets so far. They have never kept four in a row in their European Cup history.
Internazionale have the oldest average starting XI in the UEFA Champions League this season (30 years, 139 days). They have also given the most minutes to players aged 30+ in 2024-25 (1,482).
Only Atalanta (4) have faced fewer shots on target in the UEFA Champions League this season than Arsenal (5), with the Gunners keeping three clean sheets so far. They last had a run of four consecutive clean sheets in November 2007.
All three of Arsenal’s UEFA Champions League goals this season have come in the first half. In the second half of matches, they have had only nine shots, with only Sparta Prague having fewer (8).
Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus could become the 43rd Brazilian player to make 50 UEFA Champions League appearances if he appears in this game. The last Brazilian to score on his 50th game was Lucas Moura in May 2019 in a hat-trick for Spurs vs Ajax, though Jesus has gone seven without a goal for the Gunners since netting in each of his first four games for the club.
Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer has kept seven clean sheets in 10 UEFA Champions League appearances for the club. That 70% clean sheet percentage is the best of any goalkeeper with 10+ appearances at a club in the competition.
Gabriel Martinelli has created five chances following a carry (moving 5+ metres with the ball) in the UEFA Champions League this season; the most of any player through the opening three matchdays. Indeed, he’s created the joint-most chances for Arsenal in the competition this term (6 – level with Kai Havertz), while also having the highest expected assists total (1.25).
Across the opening three matchdays of this season’s UEFA Champions League, the two players who made the most high-intensity pressures were Internazionale’s Mehdi Taremi and Arsenal’s Kai Havertz (211 each). For Havertz, he also made the most specifically in the final third in this period (92).
