Among goalkeepers to play 2,500+ minutes in Champions League history, Club Brugge’s Simon Mignolet has the worst minutes per goal conceded ratio (one every 46 minutes). He did keep a clean sheet in his last game against Aston Villa back in February 2016 in a 6-0 Premier League win with Liverpool.

Edu: Arsenal sporting director's departure is blow to Arteta
Ex-Chelsea boss Graham Potter, told Planet Premier League podcast that there is some 'uncertainty' when a sporting director leaves a club.
Potter said: "Although they [Sporting Directors] do it a slightly different way, they will bring their own identity."
Arsenal's sporting director, Edu resigned from his role at Arsenal at the start of this week after being at the club since 2019 when he joined as the Gunners as technical director.
Potter added: "Arsenal will have people they know in the club or externally who will replace [Edu].
"There always some uncertainty and what strength is going to come to the club?"

On Edu’s time at Arsenal…
It has completely changed Arsenal’s make-up.
When Edu came to the club the squad was estimated around €600m euros and it’s now over €1.5 billion.
Look at the recruitment, there’s a lot of players aged 22 and 23-years-old.
The last few transfer windows Arsenal haven’t done much, but they’ve spent money well and it goes down to the influence of the sporting director and the manager.
In the next window it will be interesting to see where Arsenal go, do they go for a different approach?

Image source, Getty ImagesFormer Chelsea manager Graham Potter believes Arsenal have struggled to fill the hole left by their injured captain Martin Odegaard over the past two months, telling the Planet Premier League podcast that “it's impossible to have two Martin Odegaards”.
The 25-year-old Norwegian midfielder has been out since September, missing 12 games, after damaging his ankle ligaments on international duty.
In his absence, the Gunners have picked up just one point out of a possible nine in their last three Premier League games after losses to Newcastle and Bournemouth and a draw against Liverpool.
Potter told the podcast that he believed the loss of “such an influential player” would “always be a problem” and that fellow Arsenal midfielders Thomas Partey, Declan Rice and Mikel Merino don’t provide “the same creativity”.
The 49-year-old said he believed Arsenal would be hopeful that the relationship between Partey, Rice and Merino would develop over time meaning “the decision-making starts to become quicker and they can make those incisive passes or assists”.
Odegaard has returned to full training ahead of Arsenal’s Champions League match at Inter Milan.

Internazionale and Arsenal only met previously in the 2003-04 UEFA Champions League – both games were away wins (Arsenal 0-3 Inter, Inter 1-5 Arsenal).
Arsenal have failed to score in each of their last four away UEFA Champions League games in Italy (D1 L3), with Emmanuel Adebayor the last Gunners player to score there in a 2-0 win over Milan in March 2008.
Although only five teams have faced more shots in the UEFA Champions League this season than Internazionale (53), they have kept three clean sheets so far. They have never kept four in a row in their European Cup history.
Internazionale have the oldest average starting XI in the UEFA Champions League this season (30 years, 139 days). They have also given the most minutes to players aged 30+ in 2024-25 (1,482).
Only Atalanta (4) have faced fewer shots on target in the UEFA Champions League this season than Arsenal (5), with the Gunners keeping three clean sheets so far. They last had a run of four consecutive clean sheets in November 2007.

Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus could become the 43rd Brazilian player to make 50 UEFA Champions League appearances if he appears in this game. The last Brazilian to score on his 50th game was Lucas Moura in May 2019 in a hat-trick for Spurs vs Ajax, though Jesus has gone seven without a goal for the Gunners since netting in each of his first four games for the club.
Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer has kept seven clean sheets in 10 UEFA Champions League appearances for the club. That 70% clean sheet percentage is the best of any goalkeeper with 10+ appearances at a club in the competition.
Gabriel Martinelli has created five chances following a carry (moving 5+ metres with the ball) in the UEFA Champions League this season; the most of any player through the opening three matchdays. Indeed, he’s created the joint-most chances for Arsenal in the competition this term (6 – level with Kai Havertz), while also having the highest expected assists total (1.25).
Across the opening three matchdays of this season’s UEFA Champions League, the two players who made the most high-intensity pressures were Internazionale’s Mehdi Taremi and Arsenal’s Kai Havertz (211 each). For Havertz, he also made the most specifically in the final third in this period (92).
