A brace from Bradley Stevenson earned new Solihull boss Chris Millington his first victory in charge with a 2-0 home success over Braintree.
Ex-Halifax manager Millington was appointed at the start of October and, after watching his team exit the FA Cup at Ebbsfleet last Saturday, he saw them bounce back to secure a first win in five matches.
Stevenson grabbed the opener after 18 minutes, tapping home on the line after a goalbound header by Oscar Rutherford.
And he sealed the points with his second goal in the 71st minute as he slotted home from close range after Braintree goalkeeper Mason Terry failed to deal with a ball into the area.
