Should be a good atmosphere inside the Smisa Stadium in Paisley this afternoon for what is a big game for both sides.

Hearts have brought a healthy travelling support with 1,600 away fans away to my right.

The others stands are pretty much full, too, so support aplenty for for both sides who are both eager for all three points.

  17. 'Hard week but St Johnstone must focus'published at 14:57 British Summer Time

Ross County v St Johnstone (15:00)

Interim St Johnstone bossAndy Kirk tells BBC Scotland: "Those things that happened at the start of the week are hard to take at times, but for the players it's important there's a game.

"It gives us a focus straight away to get our minds set on what we need to do.

"The players are an honest group of boys. They work extremely hard every day and they feel a sense of responsibility.

"It's up to them now to go and put in a performance. Hopefully they're focused enough for the 90 minutes to get the points and put smiles on the faces of everyone.

"I'm expecting a very tough game but on our day we've performed well in certain games for this year."

On the potential for him to take over permanently, Kirk added: "At the moment we've been put in charge of the team today and that's all I know."

  18. 'Nothing surprises you in football'published at 14:54 British Summer Time

Ross County v St Johnstone (15:00)

Ross County boss Don Cowie tells BBC Scotland: "I think the majority of people will be surprised in terms of the timing [of Craig Levein's sacking].

"I know Craig really well, he's someone I've worked with so I'm really disappointed for him, but at the same time nothing surprises you in football.

"The message when the news came out was that we needed to stay focused. It's still the same players we're coming up against, we didn't expect too many changes. It's about us being focused for a very big game.

"We're at home, it's a great opportunity to build on the last two performances. It gives the group real belief in what we're trying to achieve. We'll need to be at our best to get the three points today."

  20. 'Small things have let St Mirren down'published at 14:50 British Summer Time

    St Mirren v Hearts (15:00)

St Mirren boss Stephen Robinson tells BBC Scotland: "There have been some good aspects to our (recent) play, we've scored some cracking goals.

"But small things have let us down and we haven't put in a complete performance yet. Sometimes it's who makes the least mistakes at this level.

"I've chopped and changed a lot with the number of games and injuries, so we're trying to get more settled now.

"We've had an okay start, so there are no heads down. There's a demand from the players that we need to be better in certain situations."
