  1. Postpublished at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Birmingham 2-0 Stockport

Bit more intent from Stockport with one of the subs, Jack Diamond, firing a shot from distance which Ryan Allsop saves down to his left.

Stockport then win a free-kick on the edge after Isaac Olaofe is felled.

Louie Barry takes the responsibility but the defensive wall does its job to deflect for a corner kick before the pressure is relieved after Callum Connolly pushed a Birmingham defender to the floor.

  2. Stockport are 'throwing bodies forward'published at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Birmingham 2-0 Stockport

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

Stockport are really throwing bodies forward to try and open up this game from 2-0 down.

They are going to give it a right go at the start of this second half.

  3. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Shrewsbury 1-0 Blackpool

We're back under way at The Croud Meadow.

Neither Shrewsbury boss Gareth Ainsworth or Blackpool head coach Steve Bruce has decided to make a change at the break.

  4. Shrews hoping to gain revenge on Poolpublished at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Shrewsbury 1-0 Blackpool

Shrewsbury's lead at half-time over Blackpool stands in stark contrast to the side's meetings last season which came to a combined scoreline of 6-0 to the Seasiders.

At Bloomfield Road, the Tangerines dismissed the Salopians with ease 4-0 thanks to a Jordan Rhodes penalty, two goals from Jake Beesley, and another from Kyle Joseph.

Today's visitors then followed that up in March with a 2-0 victory in Shropshire with goals either side of half-time from winger Karamoko Dembele and full-back Hayden Coulson.

  5. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Peterborough United 0-0 Burton Albion

Back underway in the second half at London Road.

No changes made by either manager.

  6. SECOND HALFpublished at 20:49 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Birmingham 2-0 Stockport

Back underway and never has a cliche felt more appropriate than 'the next goal could be crucial'.

Stockport make three changes at the break with Isaac Olaofe, Callum Camps and Jack Diamond coming on as Dave Challinor shuffles his pack.

If Birmingham score next then surely it is goodnight for Dave Challinor's men whoever is on the pitch but if Stockport can sneak back into this contest early enough in the second half, it is game on.

  7. Blackpool have been 'let off the hook'published at 20:43 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    HT: Shrewsbury 1-0 Blackpool

    Glen Little
Ex-Burnley winger on BBC Radio Lancashire

We were shocked that the goal went in early on. We couldn't believe it sat here, it's not often you see a goal like that. For 15-20 minutes Blackpool were shocked, they got absolutely battered and they were hanging on.

It was down the left-hand side for Shrewsbury and down the right. They probably should of got another but they haven't and sort of let Blackpool off the hook.

As the game has gone on Blackpool have grown into it, but not really had many chances - just the set play.

It is all about the second half now. How will Blackpool deal with the strong wind?

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Shrewsbury 1-0 Blackpool

So far, so good for the Salopians.

The teams are still separated by that bizarre early goal from Mal Benning whose free-kick from inside his own half bounced over Everton loanee Harry Tyrer and into the Blackpool net - one certainly for the Christmas Bloopers reel.

Blackpool got back into the game slowly and Matthew Pennington's header was the closest they came to an equaliser but his effort was instinctively kept out by Toby Savin.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Fleetwood 2-3 Doncaster

What a great half of football which has seen five goals.

Kyle Hurst gave Doncaster the lead but Mark Helm got the leveller for Fleetwood.

Helm's goal seem to have triggered something because Owen Bailey put Doncaster back in front five minutes later only to be pegged back three minutes later by Ryan Graydon's finish.

But if there's one man Rovers can count on it's Billy Sharp and he gave his side the lead in first-half added time.

We could be in for some second half.

    And breathe.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Bromley 0-0 Gillingham

Both sides have had their chances but we are yet to see any goals at Hayes Lane.

Bromley full-back Carl Jenkinson probably had the best with his strike but it was well saved by Jake Turner.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Peterborough 0-0 Burton Albion

No goals and no real chances in the first half at London Road.

A very underwhelming half from the hosts as the Brewers seem happy to let Posh have the ball in front of their back four.

Albion midfielder Tomas Kalinauskas actually came closest to breaking the deadlock but his venomous drive was pushed away to safety.

  12. goal

GOAL: Fleetwood 2-3 Docasterpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Billy Sharp (45+3 mins)

What a half we are witnessing here!

Doncaster striker Billy Sharp continues his good form to give Doncaster the lead... again.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Birmingham 2-0 Stockport

Birmingham City playersImage source, PA Media

Two goals separate the sides here but it could be level.

Alfie May pounced on Ben Hinchliffe's blunder to put Chris Davies's side ahead and doubled the lead for his seventh goal of the campaign.

But had Will Collar's early shot not hit the crossbar and Ryan Allsop not denied Louie Barry and Kyle Wootton...

    Still a cracking contest.

  14. Postpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Shrewsbury 1-0 Blackpool

A coming together between Alex Gilliead and Lee Evans will mean there will be more than the one minute of added time which was signaled at the end of the first-half.

The trainer is on and Gilliead will have to change his shirt due to blood coming from his forehead.

  15. Postpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Bromley 0-0 Gillingham

Good chance for Bromley as Jude Arthurs plays it to Carl Jenkinson and the full-back has a strike from inside the box but it's a good save from Jake Turner.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Birmingham 2-0 Stockport

Brave stop from Ryan Allsop who produces a double save, first from Louie Barry and then at close range from Kyle Wootton as he sought to pounce on the rebound.

Good work from Will Collar on the right flank delivered that into the danger zone but it was the first threat from the visitors since the same player hit the crossbar in the opening minutes.

Next goal for the visitors seems an absolute necessity.

  17. goal

GOAL: Fleetwood 2-2 Doncasterpublished at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Ryan Graydon (42 mins)

    WHAT. A. GAME!

Ryan Graydon with the finish has levelled things up AGAIN for Fleetwood.

    What next?

  18. goal

GOAL: Fleetwood 1-2 Doncasterpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Owen Bailey (39 mins)

Wow, what a response from Doncaster. They're back in front!

Owen Bailey's header across goal finds the back of the net.

  19. A 'ragged' display from Stockportpublished at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Birmingham 2-0 Stockport

    Matt Mitchell
    BBC Radio WM summariser

It is ragged from Stockport and they haven't got their shape back after conceding.

It is damage limitation from them now at this stage in the half.

It is in Birmingham's hands now.

  20. Postpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Peterborough 0-0 Burton Albion

34 minutes gone and for a team that have won just once in the league all season, Burton Albion can be very proud of their efforts so far.

Posh forward Ricky Jade-Jones has been limited to just one touch in this first-half which perhaps tells you how much has happened here.
