    QPR 0-0 Leeds

Good start from the Championship leaders as both Dan James and Jayden Bogle send in dangerous crosses in the first 90 seconds.

They will want to get off on the front foot given their poor recent record at QPR.

We (Leeds) were at our best a couple of months ago, when Farke was rotating the midfield players every match. Now its the same 11 every game and I can't help but feel the legs look heavy. Not to mention the impact on morale for likes of Gnonto and Ramazani.

    Millwall v Stoke (12:30 GMT)

Five changes from Alex Neil to his Millwall side who lost at Leeds last time out:

Ra'ees Bangura-Williams, Billy Mitchell, Josh Coburn, Aiodomo Emakhu, and Tristan Crama all start today, while George Honeyman, Femi Azeez, George Saville, Wes Harding, and Luke Cundle miss out. The latter three are on the bench.

Things are less complicated for Mark Robins, who makes just one change from the Stoke team that beat Blackburn.

Lewis Koumas returns to the starting XI, as Million Manhoeff makes way.

  6. 'Good omen for QPR'published at 12:26 Greenwich Mean Time 15 March

    QPR v Leeds (12:30 GMT)

    Paul Parker
Ex-QPR and Manchester United defender on BBC Radio London

Leeds are poor in London. They are a good omen for QPR.

There is a worry there. Are they going to wobble? The conversation has been who will go up with them until now.

  7. Team news - 3 changes for Hoops; Whites unchangedpublished at 12:25 Greenwich Mean Time 15 March

    QPR v Leeds (12:30 GMT)

It is three changes from QPR boss Marti Cifuentes from the team that was beaten at Middlesbrough on Tuesday night.

In come Paul Smyth, Morgan Fox and key midfielder Lucas Andersen as they bid to turn around their poor recent form. Out go Kieran Morgan, Yang Min-Hyeok and Ilias Chair.

'Go again' must be the message from Leeds boss Daniel Farke as he has named the same starting line-up from Wednesday night's home win over Millwall.

With the exception of injured captain Ethan Ampadu, this is probably the strongest line-up that Farke could name - a luxury at this stage of a season.

As a Leeds fan, you rarely feel better about anything, any time. Even if we were nine points clear at this stage there'd still be a niggle that makes you think something terrible will happen.

    Kurt, Glossop

As a Leeds fan, I can see Burnley and Sheffield United both dropping points this weekend. So if Leeds pull off the win, which they will at QPR, then it puts a whole new perspective on things as I think Leeds would stay in the top two until the end of the season.

Last season QPR defied the odds to thump Leeds 4-0 at Loftus Road and secure their Championship survival, while also sending Leicester City back up to the Premier League and putting a severe dent in Leeds' automatic promotion chase.

The Yorkshire side ended the season third and suffered play-off final heartbreak against Southampton at Wembley and with it another season in the second tier.

It's looking likely the Saints could be taking their place next season after a miserable return to the top league but Daniel Farke's side still have work to do - starting back in west London.

Leeds have lost on each of their past four visits to Loftus Road but come up against a team in a rotten run of four straight defeats. In fact, the home side has emerged victorious in this fixture on all of the past nine occasions.

Marti Cifuentes' side need a win to turn the tide and ensure their season doesn't spiral.

A first win here since 2017 would strengthen Leeds' claims for a return to the top table.

  10. Neil shaping up to face Potters againpublished at 12:20 Greenwich Mean Time 15 March

    Millwall v Stoke (12:30 GMT)

There's always a bit of extra motivation in the air when a former club come to town, and you can bet Alex Neil will be feeling that at The Den this afternoon.

The Scot's Millwall side host previous employers Stoke under his reign for the first time today, looking to retain bragging rights if recent history is anything to go by.

Neill has won four of his last five matches against the Potters, who will want to improve that record today to help boost their survival hopes.

In fact, when these two sides last met in September, there were two different bosses in the dugout: Neil Harris and Narcis Pelach.

Neil's stint as Millwall boss almost mirrors that of opposite number Mark Robins, who took the helm in Staffordshire in January.

Both have had mixed results since, Millwall have taken 19 points from 14 games under Neill, while Stoke have collected 13 from 12 with Robins in charge.

The home fans have been somewhat starved of results at the Den, with the Lions winning just twice in their last 10 on their own turf.

A good chance to improve that record today, though, as only Swansea, Oxford and bottom side Plymouth have scored fewer on their travels this campaign than Stoke's 14.

The Potters can't end the day in the bottom three, but with fixtures against Luton and Cardiff to come, they will want to make sure those sides are out of reach by then.

  11. Leeds determined to stay on polepublished at 12:17 Greenwich Mean Time 15 March

    QPR v Leeds (12:30 GMT)

Leeds kick off the day with a two-point cushion at the top as they head to west London for a meeting with QPR.

It could be five by 3pm and could stay that way if Burnley fail to win and Sheffield United playing tomorrow.

However, in a fine season, these 12:30 Saturday lunchtime away games have proved troublesome with four games played, won none, scored one, points three.

Out-of-form QPR could be the ideal opponents given they have lost their last four and play-off hopes have evaporated.

A win or a draw would take Leeds beyond the 80-point barrier and in pole position for the run-in after the international break.

Incentive enough - but this is the Championship and things are rarely a walk in the park.

    • Leeds fans: are you now feeling a little better about promotion prospects following last Sunday's defeat at Portsmouth?
    • QPR supporters: what now constitutes success this season or are we unfair to rule them out of play-off contention?
    • Millwall fans: how have you rated Alex Neil's start as Lions head coach and are you still believing top six is possible?
    • Stoke supporters: on a scale of 1-10 how concerned are you? Or is there more than enough quality to get this team higher up the table?

The Championship standingsImage source, BBC Sport

A fantastic day of action awaits in the Championship at the top and the bottom.

Victory for Leeds on the road at QPR and they will guarantee top spot heading into the final international break of the campaign.

While three points for Burnley away at Swansea would see them leapfrog Sheffield United, with the Blades in action in the Steel City tomorrow.

Fourth placed Sunderland, still with a very slim chance of the top two, go to Coventry, outside the top six on goal difference, in a very attractive fixture.

There is something to play for in each game, but probably nowhere will the stakes be higher than at Home Park.

Bottom club Plymouth welcome Derby, who are 22nd in a doom-laden fixture.

Nothing is decided at this stage, but it will feel like a long way to safety for whoever loses that game.

  15. One last big effort...published at 12:00 Greenwich Mean Time 15 March

It's the last Saturday of the long winter slog in the Championship before the respite of an international break.

The last of 23 league games condensed into just under four months of brutal, relentless football.

We have 10 matches on offer today with promotion or relegation at stake in all of them so there should be something for everyone.

As managers will surely be saying to weary minds and bodies in the dressing room, 'One last big effort, boys, come on...'
