    Stephen Warnock

City haven’t had a shot for more than 30 minutes now. When they get the ball, they are playing in front of Real\s back four, and having to work very hard without really getting anywhere.

There is a lack of conviction about Man City when they come forward. There is no pace. They are not threatening to hurt Real Madrid.

There has been a noticeable change in Man City in recent minutes, they have started to press higher up the pitch. Ilkay Gundogan is getting up higher to help the front three, but so far it is just not working.

Gundogan and Silva just don't have the legs anymore, needed more pace in midfield. Poor decision from Pep

I think that puts the Mbappe vs Haaland conversation to bed. Haaland is obviously a world class striker but this is what a world class footballer looks like. WOW!

When Real are in this mood, nobody can stop them. They're razor sharp up front, and their defenders are celebrating every tackle. This is going to be four or five by the end of the game.

  20. 'So simple from Real Madrid'published at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February

    Real Madrid 2-0 Man City

    Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is so simple from Real Madrid but done with so much quality. It is excellent footwork to get it into Kylian Mbappe.

He has four or five defenders in and around him when he receives it, he chops the ball to take two of them out, the other three go the other way and he sends Ederson the wrong way with the finish.

You'd think that would be it from a Man City point of view.
