I think Amorim leaving Sporting is a huge mistake. Pressure from United forced him to leave somewhere that was already a great team in progress. The allure of joining United shouldn’t be all that anymore. Once a great team, but not anymore. Just another mid-table team now. He should’ve stayed at Sporting until the end of the season. Who cares if the United job was already filled by then? United think too highly of themselves, thinking that everyone will want to manage them.
