  1. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:00 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

We're under way in six of our seven remaining Championship games.

Millwall v West Brom will start at 15:15 GMT because of travel congestion in the local area.

  2. goal

GOAL: Oxford 0-2 Portsmouthpublished at 14:59 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Mark O'Mahony (90+6 mins)

    That settles it.

The second-half sub Mark O'Mahony picks up a clearance and breaks through the middle of the pitch before slotting it home to wrap up the points.

  3. Kick-off at The Den delayed until 15:15 GMTpublished at 14:58 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

Millwall v West Brom (15:15 GMT)

There will be a 15 minute delay to the start in south east London due to "travel congestion in the local area".

  4. 'Bannan makes surprise return'published at 14:57 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

Sheff Wed v Coventry (15:00 GMT)

I’m told by a reliable source that Josh Windass “ran himself into the ground” to help Sheffield Wednesday win at Swansea in midweek.

He is a sub here in a critical game as Barry Bannan makes a surprise return from injury.

Two up top for Coventry with Frank Lampard keen to capitalise on some patchy form here for the home side.

  5. Can Barry help struggling Tigers roar?published at 14:56 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

Hull City v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

Hull City got an unexpected boost on Friday night thanks to Derby's 4-0 defeat at QPR moving them up out of the relegation zone on goal difference while they sat on the sofa.

However, after successive defeats boss Ruben Selles has given a first start to Aston Villa loanee Louie Barry as the Tigers look to secure just a third home win of the season.

Barry bagged 15 goals in 23 League One games for Stockport in the first half of the season and his form could be key.

Norwich City's play-off hopes were dented by a 1-0 home defeat by Preston on Wednesday.

The Canaries have an excellent recent record against the side from East Yorkshire, with victory in each of the past four games between the two, including a 4-0 success in the reverse of this fixture in October.

  6. 'Vital game'published at 14:54 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

Luton v Sheff Utd (15:00 GMT)

    Qasa Alom
    Final Score at Kenilworth Road

Kenilworth Road is packed again despite the rain lashing down ahead of the vital match against Sheffield United.

Dare I say it, even a bit of a buzz and a smile as the team was announced - with many of the regular Hatters glad Matt Bloomfield has returned to a more familiar formation and experienced players.

  7. Hapless Hatters look to avoid historypublished at 14:53 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

Luton v Sheff Utd (15:00 GMT)

Luton's miserable season took a further downward turn on Wednesday when they sank to the foot of the Championship table with defeat at high-flying Sunderland.

The Hatters have failed to score in each of their past three home games and another blank today would see them go scoreless in four successive home Football League games for the first time in their history.

They could do without a visit from promotion-chasing Sheffield United then.

The Blades have won nine away games in the Championship this season. More than anyone else.

  8. Postpublished at 14:52 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Oxford 0-1 Portsmouth

    Was that the chance??

Cameron Brannagan sends in a delicious cross which Stanley Mills arrives to meet right on cue - but he gets it all wrong and sends his header well wide of the post.

He looked odds-on to finish that but Oxford's goalscoring struggles continue.

There will be seven added minutes.

  9. 'Both sides would love a win'published at 14:50 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Middlesbrough v Watford (15:00 GMT)

    Andy Sixsmith
    Final Score at the Riverside

The day after Valentines Day - and no prizes for guessing what Middlesbrough and Watford fans would ‘love’ - a win!

Michael Carrick’s side only have two in their last 10, while Tom Cleverley’s Hornets are winless in five.

There’s already a tension in the air around the Riverside - but that could be because it’s near freezing. Big coats and points the requirement for both today.

  10. Old mates united in need for pointspublished at 14:49 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Middlesbrough v Watford (15:00 GMT)

Once upon a time, Michael Carrick and Tom Cleverley were part of the Manchester United midfield that won the title in Sir Alex Ferguson's last season at Old Trafford.

Now they have followed the great Scot into management and after bright starts, both have hit a sticky spell.

For Carrick's Middlesbrough, it is three wins from 11 games and three straight losses, which has seen them fall to ninth and three points off the top six.

As for Watford and Cleverley, their fall has been even more pronounced with seven defeats from 10 games with them now in the bottom half, five points shy of those play-off spots.

Carrick and Cleverley both know that it's time to arrest these new year slumps if they still want to make something positive of their teams' seasons.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:48 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Oxford 0-1 Portsmouth

Oxford send on Matt Phillips for Peter Kioso, tasking him with finding his side a late leveller.

Time is rapidly running out though.

  12. Owls and Sky Blues look for upper hand in play-off racepublished at 14:46 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

Sheff Wed v Coventry (15:00 GMT)

    Bobby ThomasImage source, Getty Images

Bobby Thomas’ stoppage-time header to hand Coventry a win over QPR on Tuesday was a welcome tonic for a Sky Blues side who had suffered back-to-back home defeats.

A 2-0 Championship loss to Leeds was followed by a 4-1 FA Cup thrashing at the hands of Premier League Ipswich.

Prior to that, the form of Frank Lampard’s men had been very good, with four consecutive league wins coming as part of a five-game unbeaten streak in all competitions that started with an FA Cup third round win on penalties over today’s opponents on 11 January.

So there may be a small element of revenge for the Owls this afternoon but their main focus will be beating a close rival in the play-off race, with only one point separating the teams at kick-off.

Wednesday’s triumph over Swansea in midweek was just their second victory in seven, but if they win this afternoon and other results go their way they could finish the day in the top six.

  13. 'West Brom's away form doesn't inspire'published at 14:43 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

Millwall v West Brom (15:00 GMT)

    Marc Webber
    Final Score at The Den

West Brom have a number of clubs breathing down their neck for that final play-off spot, and their away form doesn’t inspire. The Baggies haven’t won away since 10 November.

Millwall were on a splendid run of four wins before Plymouth sunk their armada 5-1 in midweek.

A reaction required from both sides.

  14. Lions look for response against stumbling Baggiespublished at 14:42 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

Millwall v West Brom (15:00 GMT)

Millwall’s fine form of late was brought to a shuddering halt in midweek when they were thrashed 5-1 by strugglers Plymouth.

The surprise result was a first defeat in five matches in all competitions for the Lions who went into the Argyle game on the high of beating Leeds in the FA Cup last weekend.

Alex Neil will be hoping that it was a mere blip and doesn’t burst the feelgood factor, especially as Millwall can haul sixth-placed West Brom to within four points of them with a win.

The Baggies have an unenviable record at The Den, winning only once in their last 12 visits, with that coming in February 2020. They are also winless on the road in the Championship in their last eight.

Wednesday’s 2-0 defeat to promotion rivals Blackburn was a third defeat in five games for Tony Mowbray’s side who need to put an inconsistent run to an end if they want to retain their place in the play-off picture with plenty of sides within striking distance below.

  15. Postpublished at 14:41 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Oxford 0-1 Portsmouth

Isaac Hayden's cross is heading towards sub Mark O'Mahony until an Oxford boot sends it behind for a corner.

If Pompey win this afternoon they will move seven points clear of the relegation zone.

    Around 10 minutes to go.

  16. Robins hopes to finally take flight against Swanspublished at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Stoke v Swansea (15:00 GMT)

For Stoke boss Mark Robins, today is personal.

The experienced gaffer has faced Swansea 13 times and never once been on the winning side. Unsurprisingly that is his worst record against any other side.

The Potters remain in trouble at the wrong end of the table but have kept clean sheets in each of their past three home matches so at least have something to build on.

All is not well with the Swans and they too could yet find themselves in a scrap to avoid the drop.

Luke Williams' men have won just one of their past eight league games.

  17. Postpublished at 14:36 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Oxford 0-1 Portsmouth

Oxford's Ole Romeny almost makes an instant impact as he crosses to Przemyslaw Placheta but Nicolas Schmid makes a great stop to keep his side in front.

About 20 minutes or so left now.

Oxford's players need to find their shooting boots, they have found goals hard to come by lately but they need one here.

  18. 'Never a dull week at Blackburn'published at 14:34 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Blackburn v Plymouth (15:00 GMT)

    Giulia Bould
    Final Score at Ewood Park

Arriving at Ewood Park today staff told me “there is never a dull week at Blackburn” after the departure of John Eustace.

The outgoing manager was understood to have got fed up with the lack of investment so moved to relegation threatened Derby.

The press officer showed me the top of his head as I arrived and told me he had a full head of hair when he started working at the club!

    Blackburn v Plymouth (15:00 GMT)

What a few days it has been for Plymouth Argyle. Last Sunday, they sent the mighty Liverpool tumbling out of the FA Cup before getting a plum trip to Manchester City in the next round.

Then on Wednesday, was there any question of a cup hangover? No, they thrashed Millwall 5-1 to climb off the bottom of the Championship for the first time since December.

Now they and the Green Army head to east Lancashire hoping to continue the momentum they have built up in the last couple of weeks.

Blackburn may be without a manager after John Eustace went to Derby, but that did not stop them at West Brom where they won impressively.

Another three points today would keep Rovers fifth and make that vacancy look a little bit more appealing for whoever fancies taking it on.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 14:32 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Oxford 0-1 Portsmouth

And just after those changes Pompey have to make another one as Callum Lang pulls up with an injury.

Cohen Bramall is on in his stead.

Gary Rowett has meanwhile made a triple change as the Yellows search for an equaliser.

Romeny, Mills and Goodrham are on for Harris, Rodrigues and Dembele.
