It's been a very comfortable afternoon for Phallon Tullis-Joyce in the Manchester United goal. Just the one shot on target from West Ham.

Celin Bizet gets a noisy reception as she comes on for Manchester United. The fans are clearly excited to see what she can bring after joining from Tottenham.

It will be interesting to see what trouble she causes for this tiring West Ham back line. They've faced relentless attacks today and Bizet brings added freshness for the hosts.

Speaking to some fans here in Crawley, they like what they have seen from Dario Vidosic’s Brighton so far.

They look more exciting going forward, more direct and more intense in their pressing.

Everton have struggled to get into the game but still look threatening when they play it out wide and get balls into the box.

But so far so good for the new-look Brighton and their big-name signings have made an impression.

A bit of a coming together between Phallon Tullis-Joyce and Emma Harries knocks the West Ham player flying.

The medics are quick to run on to the pitch and see to Harries, who is able to walk off unharmed a few minutes later.

That's her last bit of action this afternoon as she's replaced by summer signing Seraina Piubel.

Grace Clinton spent last season on loan at Tottenham and her impressive performances there earned her an England call-up.

It looks like she's carrying that same form into this season as she scores on her debut - at Old Trafford, no less!

Everton fans will be relieved to see Sara Holmgaard back up to her feet after the club's well documented injury issues last season.

What were West Ham doing there?

They leave Grace Clinton completely unmarked to meet a Lisa Naalsund delivery and her header goes past Kinga Szemik, with the West Ham keeper staying rooted to her spot.

The hosts have started the second half well and now have another goal. They've been controlling.

The corner comes to nothing but Everton do well to sustain their brief spell of pressure and eventually win a free kick wide on the right hand side.

There's a brief pause in play though as Sara Holmgaard looks to have an injury issue.

Solid as a rock. Jayde Riviere gets the better of Anouk Denton, who had made a daunting run through the centre of the pitch.

But no messing about from Riviere as she effortlessly shrugs the West Ham defender off the ball.

Bright play from Veatriki Sarri on her return to Broadfield Stadium with new club Everton.

She's won her side a corner which they will be hoping to equalise from.

Manchester United have got themselves a free-kick in a dangerous area as Ella Toone is bundled down by Anouk Denton.

It's Toone to take and she flashes it across the six-yard box, with a West Ham touch taking it out for a corner.

Just five minutes or so remain of the first half and I think Brighton boss Dario Vidosic will be pleased with what he has seen from his side so far.

The one complaint he may have is that they've not managed to build a more substantial lead with the chances and openings they have created.
