    Brighton 1-0 Everton

Free kick to Everton after Courtney Brosnan is clattered in her box by an on-rushing Pauline Bremer.

In all fairness to the Brighton forward the ball was there to be won, she was just beaten to it by the quick reflexes of the Everton keeper.

  4. KICK-OFFpublished at 13:07 British Summer Time 21 September

    Man Utd 2-0 West Ham

We're back under way at Old Trafford.

Manchester United have won all four of their WSL home games against West Ham without conceding.

Will they do the same again or can Rehanne Skinner's side get on the board?

Summer signing Kiko Seike has stolen the show on her debut. That was a stunning goal.

She has been threatening down Brighton’s right wing all half and had earlier forced goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan into a good save.

Seike’s been linking up nicely with Fran Kirby and Brighton’s pressing led to her winning the ball high up for her goal.

There were people on their feet near me applauding the finish and it has set the band off again.

    Brighton 1-0 Everton

Everton are looking to find their feet again now having fallen behind.

Boss Brian Sorensen is right to look concerned on the touchline, before today the Toffees had only won one of the last 29 league games that they’d fallen behind in (D3 L25).

    Kiko Seike, 29 mins

    Brighton take the lead!

Kiko Seike has been a thorn in the side of the Everton defence all afternoon and she has got her reward.

She harries Elise Stenevik on the ball, nicking it off her toes and launching a long-range lob into the top right hand corner of the net.

There was nothing Courtey Brosnan could do to stop it.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:58 British Summer Time 21 September

    Brighton 0-0 Everton

Brighton bright spark Kiko Seike is fed into the right hand side of the box and takes aim at goal.

Her shot has plenty of power but it is denied by a big hand from Courtney Brosnan that tips it over the bar.

    Brighton 0-0 Everton

Nice passage of play from Brighton in and around the Everton box.

Poppy Pattinson fires a cross into the back post which is cleared, before another cross from Kiko Seike is gathered by Courtney Brosnan in the middle.

That's Leah Galton at her best. She runs inside, keeps her eye on goal as she shoulders off markers and picks out a lovely effort.

The hosts lead 2-0 before the break and it feels deserved. West Ham have produced a bit of good play, but it's mostly been one-way traffic.

Marc Skinner will be happy. Rehanne Skinner less so.

    Brighton 0-0 Everton

    Almost a disaster for Brighton.

Skipper Vicky Losada dwells on the ball a little too long and is dispossed by Aurora Galli. The Italian takes aim at goal from distance but her effort is caught calmly by Sophie Baggaley.

Manchester United double their lead at Old Trafford!

It's a great finish from Leah Galton as she brings down a pass from Millie Turner, takes a couple of touches to set her on her way before curving the ball into the left corner of the net.

    Brighton 0-0 Everton

Having had a rather slow start to the game there is no doubt that Brighton have taken the impetus here.

Kiko Seike has sent the fans into rapturous applause on several occasions already with her marauding runs and Pauline Bremer looks a threat up top.

Excellent defending from Everton skipper Megan Finnigan.

  19. CLOSE!published at 12:43 British Summer Time 21 September

    That would have been spectacular!

West Ham can't clear a corner and the ball falls to Geyse, who goes for an outrageous overhead kick.

It nearly comes off, too, as it drops on to the crossbar.
