Team news
Leicester City captain Jamie Vardy is set to play his 500th and final match for the club, with boss Ruud van Nistelrooy confirming the 38-year-old has decided not to feature at Bournemouth on the final day.
Van Nistelrooy has reported no new injury concerns but says a late decision will be made on the fitness of Ricardo Pereira, who is nearing a comeback from a muscle issue.
Ipswich left-back Leif Davis returns after completing a three-game ban, while Nathan Broadhead has resumed training.
Kalvin Phillips is not available, while this match comes too soon for Conor Townsend and Sammie Szmodics.
Head-to-head
Ipswich's last top-flight win away to Leicester was on 16 August 1980, with John Wark scoring the only goal at Filbert Street. The Suffolk side went on to end that season as runners-up, also winning the Uefa Cup.
The Tractor Boys won their first match at the King Power Stadium, claiming a 2-1 victory in the second tier on Boxing Day 2002, but are winless in their subsequent 10 games there (D5, L5).
Each of the last three meetings has ended 1-1 following a late equaliser. Jordan Ayew levelled in the 94th minute in November's reverse fixture, while Ipswich scored in the 89th and 90th minute to earn draws in last season's Championship fixtures.
Leicester City
Leicester and Ipswich are the only two clubs to have been relegated in the same Premier League season on three different occasions (1994-95, 2001-02, 2024-25).
The Foxes' 2-0 win against Southampton ended their run of nine consecutive Premier League home defeats, all without scoring.
They last won back-to-back top-flight home matches in May 2022, beating Norwich then Southampton.
Leicester have scored six goals in their past five league games, as many as their previous 17.
Jamie Vardy, who is set to make his final appearance for Leicester, is one shy of 500 games for the club in all competitions. He is also one short of 200 goals for the Foxes.
Vardy has scored 110 of his 144 Premier League goals after turning 30. The next highest total by a player after reaching that landmark birthday is 93, by Ian Wright.
Ipswich Town
The Tractor Boys have won 15 of their 22 points this season away from home, equivalent to 68%. No team has ended an English top-flight season with a share that high.
If the Blues fail to win they will end the season with the lowest points total in their league history (adjusted to three points for a win), eclipsing their haul of 27 in 1994-95.
They have scored just 13 second-half goals in the top flight this term, a joint low, and conceded 39 goals – only Southampton, with 43, have a higher figure after the break.
Kieran McKenna's men have failed to keep a clean sheet in all 17 of their league games this calendar year, conceding 44 goals and claiming seven points from a possible 51 (W1, D4, L12).
