Arsenal keeper Neto saves Oriol Romeu's weakish effort.

  2. AC Milan down to 10 menpublished at 20:41 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Dinamo Zagreb 1-0 AC Milan

It goes from bad to worse for AC Milan as they not only trail at Dinamo Zagreb but now they are down to 10 after Yunus Musah has been sent for an early bath after being shown two yellow cards.

A point for Milan could see them move into the automatic qualifying spots.

  5. goal

GOAL - PSV Eindhoven 1-2 Liverpoolpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Harvey Elliott (40 mins)

Liverpool back in front after Federico Chiesa's snatched shot is parried away and Harvey Elliott is alert to the loose ball.

    Really good finish.

  6. goal

GOAL - Aston Villa 2-2 Celticpublished at 20:39 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Adam Idah (38 mins)

    OH MY WORD.

A fine passing move and Reo Hatate rolls the ball across the box with Adam Idah beating Emiliano Martinez to the ball to clip his shot into the top corner.

    All square now.

  7. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 20:39 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Barcelona 0-1 Atalanta

Atalanta have been threatening to score and they think they have the lead now as a loose ball squirms through to Davide Zappacosta, who sweeps home from the middle of the box.

There's a long VAR check for offside, however, and it is ruled out.

A win for Atalanta will guarantee a top eight place.

  8. goal

GOAL - Girona 1-1 Arsenalpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Jorginho (38 mins)

Keeper guesses right but Jorginho slots it into the corner and Arsenal are level.

  9. Remember what led to the Aguero goal?published at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Man City 0-0 Club Brugge

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter at the Etihad Stadium

Nothing like the same jeopardy obviously but thinking back to Manchester City's famous Premier League title win in 2012, QPR were scrapping for their lives that day because they were at risk of going down.

As the match entered its final minutes, it became apparent they were safe. Their intensity levels dropped and City took advantage.

Club Brugge having something to play for here. But as it stands, were City to score, the Belgians would still book a play-off berth.

I wonder, if we are still in this position five minutes from the end but Brugge know they are safe, whether Pep Guardiola's side will be able to exploit any easing off.

  10. 'Game on'published at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Aston Villa 2-1 Celtic

    Chris Sutton
Former Celtic and Villa striker on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

I tell you what, Villa have had so much control. Nothing had come from Celtic's left-hand side until then.

Villa don't deal with it and Adam Idah gives it a smart finish.

    Game on.

  11. PENALTY TO ARSENALpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Girona 1-0 Arsenal

  12. Postpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Man City 0-0 Club Brugge

Heart in mouth moment for Manchester City.

Christos Tzolis is in acres of space and gets a shot away but can't get it on target.

Neither side have had a shot on target so far but it feels like Club Brugge have enjoyed the better of the chances.

  13. Postpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Man City 0-0 Club Brugge

    Izzy Christiansen
Former England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

City are not putting the full press on because they know Brugge might be trying to lull them into a false sense of security when playing out.

  14. goal

GOAL - Aston Villa 2-1 Celticpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Adam Idah (36 mins)

    Game on!

Celtic work the ball out to Greg Taylor. He puts in a low cross which Villa captain John McGinn, sliding in, deflects into the path of Adam Idah to hook a clever volley in.

  15. PSG cruisingpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Stuttgart 0-3 PSG

Nevermind securing a play-off place, PSG are playing like they should never have been in elimination trouble at all here.

Stuttgart haven't been able to handle them and Ousmane Dembele gets his second with a thunderous finish.

  16. 'More goals in this'published at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Aston Villa 2-0 Celtic

    Chris Sutton
Former Celtic and Villa striker on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

    Watkins should have buried that.

It was clever play to release Ramsey and then the ball was played out from Watkins. He takes the pace off it and lifts it but credit to Alistair Johnston for getting back and clearing it.

You get the sense there are more goals in this.

  17. Postpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Girona 1-0 Arsenal

Arnaut Danjuma's goal was the first open play goal Arsenal have conceded in the Champions League this season. He has a chance to make it two but his effort is blocked.

  18. goal

GOAL - PSV Eindhoven 1-1 Liverpoolpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Johan Bakayoko (35 mins)

    What a brilliant goal!

Johan Bakayoko picks up the ball just inside the 18-yard box, takes a really good touch and chops round a defender to get his shot away.

A right-footed curling effort. Lovely finish.

  19. Postpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Girona 1-0 Arsenal

The Neto goalkeeping for that goal looks worse every time you see it almost. David Raya wasn't fit to play today, said Mikel Arteta.

Imagine being Liverpool and winning all 8 group games and your reward is to be "seeded well" but still to play Real Madrid....Just goes to show how seeding isn't everything!

    Alex

To be fair I don't think many would have anticipated Real Madrid finishing around 15th place.
