    Dundee 0-4 Heart of Midlothian

Hearts forward Kenneth Vargas nearly nets within moments of his introduction from the bench.

He races clear of the last man before firing low at goal, but goalkeeper Trevor Carson is able to deny the attacker with his outstretched leg.

A phrase I haven't used this season, but Dundee are getting real going over this afternoon.

Hearts have been rampant at Dens Park.

The visitors are knocking the ball about really well and it would come as no surprise if they ripple the net in front of their own fans again before this game is out.

  3. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 16:33 Greenwich Mean Time

    Hibernian 2-0 Aberdeen

There is a check for an Aberdeen penalty after a possible Hibs handball and a push against Ricky Bushiri as they try to clear a corner.

Referee Don Robertson draws a rectangle in the air and is off to the monitor.

No penalty. After consulting the pitchside monitor the spot kick is not given.

  4. goal

GOAL St Mirren 0-1 St Johnstonepublished at 16:32 Greenwich Mean Time

    Bozo Mikulic

    Saints have the lead!

It's calamitous defending from a corner and the ball breaks to Mikulic, and he steers it into the corner and beyond the grasp of Zach Hemming.

Very much against the run of play.

  5. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time

    St Mirren 0-0 St Johnstone

Greg Kiltie has the ball in the back of the St Johnstone net, but as the forward wheels away to celebrate, the goal is chalked off.

There's a push from Toyosi Olusanya in the build-up.

    Musa Drammeh

    A clanger from Trevor Carson!

The Dundee keeper collides with his own defender, Aaron Donnelly, and drops the ball right in the middle of the mixer from a unsuspecting deep free-kick delivery.

The ball bobbles towards goal, allowing winger Musa Drammeh to nip in ahead of Clark Robertson to slide the visitor's fourth into an empty net from close range.

    Chris Kane

A deflection off Chris Kane and the striker has his second goal of the game as the Pars come from behind to lead in the Fife derby.

  11. goal

GOAL AIRDRIEONIANS 2-1 Queen's Parkpublished at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ben Wilson (penalty)

Ben Wilson's second penalty of the game puts Airdrie back in front against Queen's Park.

  12. Postpublished at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time

    Dundee 0-3 Heart of Midlothian

Not content with just one first-rate goal, Blair Spittal tries his luck with a curling effort from 25 yards.

The strike is hurtling towards the top corner, but Dundee goalkeeper Trevor Carson holds the ball well to deny the wide midfielder.

  13. Livingston could be only winnerspublished at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time

    Scottish Championship

As things stand, all four games in the Championship are level and, if it finishes that way, Livingston, who beat Falkirk 2-1 last night, will have gained two points on Ayr and Partick Thistle, as well as gaining three points on the Bairns.

  14. Postpublished at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time

    Hibernian 2-0 Aberdeen

Hibs are continuing to threaten. Another dinked cross almost finds Martin Boyle in the area, but it's just cut out before it reaches the forward.

At the other end, the Dons put a great ball into the area, but no-one is there to meet it in the middle.

If an attacking player is there to meet it, they'd have had a brilliant chance to half the deficit.

  15. Missing link?published at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time

    Dundee 0-3 Heart of Midlothian

Lawrence Shankland and Elton Kabangu combined to find Hearts’ third of the afternoon.

The forward pair have been a real problem for the Dundee defence, while Blair Spittal and James Penrice have been their usual threatening selves down the left-hand side.

Could the simultaneous addition of Kabangu and return of Shankland see Hearts continue their rise up the table?

Hearts' Blair Spittal celebrates with Elton Kabangu (R) after Spittal scores to make it 2-0 during a William Hill Premiership match between Dundee and Heart of Midlothian at the Scot Foam Stadium at Dens Park, on February 01, 2025, in Dundee, Scotland. The Hibernian fans boo Kevin Nisbet as he comes on to the pitch for Aberdeen. He has some work to do to get his Aberdeen team back into this match.

  17. Postpublished at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time

    St Mirren 0-0 St Johnstone

St Johnstone almost score with their first shot!

Graham Carey launches one from distance that Zach Hemming palms away. It comes straight to Makenzie Kirk and Hemming has to tip his header round the post.

Ouch!published at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time

    St Mirren 0-0 St Johnstone

Almost at the hour mark now and still not a single shot from St Johnstone. That's despite having almost 70% possession.

We've also seen replays of a challenge from Caolan Boyd-Munce on Makenzie Kirk that has left the young St Johnstone striker crumpled in a heap. It looked nasty to me.
