  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

Nothing between the sides at the break and not much to say that will change either.

    Some half time changes incoming?

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 45 mins

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

Jacob Bedeau is carded for Notts County.

The referee accuses him of a handball but Bedeau is very unhappy about it, feeling that his arm was in a natural position and that - again - a Notts player has seen an unfairly awarded yellow.

  3. Postpublished at 43 mins

Midfielder Joel Tabiner makes an admirable bolt up the field on his lonesome to create a counter-attack.

There's rush to the Notts box but George Abbott is there to block the pass.

The Notts midfielder is winded but it was worth the exertion.

    CONTROVERSY!

Charlie Whitaker charges into the box and Crewe keeper Filip Marschall makes contact to see the forward tumble to the ground.

The crowd rise thinking it's a penalty but no, the referee judges it as simulation and it's Whitaker who receives the card.

    That's sure to divide opinion.

Was that a penalty? Let us know via the thumbs below.

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

Tom Lowery puts a somewhat silly late challenge in on Notts' David McGoldrick to concede a free kick not too big a distance outside the box.

McGoldrick takes but the steadfast Mickey Demetriou blocks to keep the box clear.

  6. 'You don't usually see a foul throw but we have'published at 13:07 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

    Mark Stallard
Former Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

Talk about epitomising the first half, we've had a foul throw.

You don't usually see those very often - maybe in under-7s football - but we have one in League Two today.

I think the referee should blow the half-time whistle now and get the players together to say this is not good enough.

  7. Postpublished at 30 mins

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

Crewe captain Mickey Demetriou finds himself clattered in the box by an emerging Notts County man while battling for a corner.

    Demetriou seems unbothered.

As does the rest of his team, actually, but the away fans watching might have felt they could have gained something from that.

  8. 'Notts could be dangerous'published at 13:01 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

    Peter Morse
Crewe summariser on BBC Radio Stoke

Both sides have looked ok when the build-up from the opposition is slow. It's just in the turnover.

The most dangerous side at the minute could be Notts County because if they get a turnover Crewe will be light at the back.

This game is being played heavily in the midfield, plenty of exchanges but not much offered in terms of breaking out to the goal mouth.

Notts County are down Alassana Jatta today, who is currently with Gambia national team.

But it's hard to see how League Two's joint highest scorer would get many opportunities even if he was present.

Crewe's Kane Hemmings (number 15) is certainly struggling, spending most of time lingering just beyond the halfway line.

  10. 'Both sides giving the ball away'published at 12:55 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

    Mark Stallard
Former Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

Both sets of shirts have been guilty of giving the ball away too much.

Neither keeper has had much to do other than catch a cross or punch a cross.

  11. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

Crewe's Kane Hemmings has been quiet in these early stages but finally gets a chance to shine when a long forward ball finds him up front.

He's sandwiched between a Notts keeper and defender and needs to pass out before getting back into position.

He doesn't find the ball back at his feet but the visitors do get themselves a throw-in.

  12. 'A good battle between Cooney and Gordon'published at 12:50 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

    Peter Morse
Crewe summariser on BBC Radio Stoke

It's been a good battle between Ryan Cooney and Kellan Gordon.

Just two good full-backs going at each other.

  13. Postpublished at 17 mins

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

The ball has spent time at either end of the pitch but neither team have been able to find a breakthrough that might get the crowd going.

Crewe's Ryan Cooney hounds Notts midfielder Will Jarvis in the defensive half but ends up giving away free kick to say farewell to any hopes of an attack.

  14. 'Neither side able to create so far'published at 12:46 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

    Mark Stallard
Former Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

It's been a bit like that for the first 15 minutes or so. Neither team has really been able to create anything so far.

  15. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

The first corner of the game is awarded to Notts.

It's swung in with good height, ready for a rising Charlie Whitaker to nod home.

The striker gets a touch but it's not enough to see it goal bound as it heads out for a goal kick.

  16. 'Lowery could have been more ambitious'published at 12:39 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

    Peter Morse
Crewe summariser on BBC Radio Stoke

    It was a chance.

I thought Tom Lowery could have been a bit more ambitious with what he was trying to do.

  17. Postpublished at 7 mins

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

Tom Lowery is found in space in the Notts box and his teammate cuts to him in the box.

He's in a good position but takes a touch that allows the Notts defence to swarm and block the path to goal.

Early alarm bells for the hosts but they get away with it.

  18. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

Crewe Alexandra get an early free kick that looks like it could be promising.

It's swirled into the box but straight into the hands of Notts keeper Sam Slocombe.

Neither team stamping their authority thus far.

  19. 'Bit of a scrappy start'published at 12:34 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

    Mark Stallard
Former Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

It's been a of bit of a scrappy start.

Notts are having a period of possession in their own half trying to create space.

  20. KICK-OFFpublished at 12:30 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March

    Notts County 0-0 Crewe

    Away we go.

All eyes turn to Meadow Lane.
