  1. 'Boost for young players to have captain back'published at 12:27 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March

Notts County v Crewe (12:30 GMT)

Crewe manager Lee Bell speaking to Sky Sports:

"It is a really good timely boost we can select [Mickey Demetriou]. He was close last weekend but we thought we'd give him another week of full training. It is a boost for the young players to have their captain back.

"We need to get some more consistency and some more wins. We will take each occasion as it comes, we have some tough games coming up but we need to find a level of consistency with the performances and hopefully some results will come with that.

"I expect Notts County to go for it. They have a lot of attacking players on the pitch. They'll have large parts with the ball, we'll need to be patient to combat that and dictate the game at times without the football. I expect it to be a tactical battle with the formations both teams are playing."

Canada's Jamie Knight-Lebel and Wales' Zac Williams are elsewhere for Crewe but the good news is that captain Mickey Demetriou is back fit and straight into the starting line up.

He returns after missing out on the past eight games, while also making the starting XI is Ryan Cooney.

  3. 'Very small margins that determine these games'published at 12:23 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March

Notts County v Crewe (12:30 GMT)

Notts County boss Stuart Maynard speaking to Sky Sports:

"We'll look slightly different from when we have AJ [Alassana Jatta] in the team. He is a physical presence and we can really play off him. [Jack] Hinchy's been incredible for us this year so we believe everyone from the squad gets an opportunity to come in and be impressive.

"Every time you lose a game of football, the next game is the next opportunity to put it right. This is an opportunity to put it right. It is another big game at the top of the division. They are very small margins that determine these games."

  4. Two changes for Nottspublished at 12:21 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March

The battle at the top of League Two is immensely close.

Crewe Alexandra are just one point shy of a place in the play-offs and better yet, six below an automatic promotion spot.

But when everything is so tantalisingly within grasp, it also means there are many others waiting in the wings wanting the exact same thing.

One of those teams is Notts County, a side that are having somewhat of a down spell with three losses in their past four league games.

Notts haven't won any of their past four league encounters with Crewe either but with a return to the top three up for grabs and a chance to further the gap between them and the play off chasers, could this be the time to turn things around?

Good afternoon, no passports or giant flags needed in here, and the only anthems you'll hear are terrace ones - this is an international football free zone!

While the great and the good might be reclining their seats and picking up air miles while flying off to far-flung corners of the globe this week, we still have 17 matches from two divisions of the EFL on the menu for you, and some of them are whoppers...

So swap your atlas for a UK road map and settle in for more than five hours of live football. These are no qualifiers, this is the business end of the competition, and there's no better place to be this afternoon...
