Fulham have won three of their last four Premier League home games against Aston Villa (L1), and have also kept a clean sheet in four of their last five against them at Craven Cottage (W3 D1 L1).
Aston Villa have won four of their last five Premier League games against Fulham, with the exception being a 3-0 loss in this exact fixture last season. It’s as many victories as they’d managed in their previous 19 against them in the competition (D10 L5).
Fulham have won six of their last nine home Premier League matches (D1 L2), scoring three or more goals in five of those wins. Indeed, the Cottagers have won all seven home Premier League games this season when scoring; last season, they scored in 15 home games but only won eight (53%, D4 L3).
Aston Villa have won their last nine Premier League games against teams from London, beating Fulham twice in that run. In top-flight history, the only team to string together 10 consecutive wins against London sides were Liverpool between March 2019 and June 2020 (a run of 11).
Aston Villa have kept a clean sheet in each of their last two away Premier League games, as many as they managed in their previous 17 away league games combined. The Villans last kept three away league clean sheets in a row in February 2021.
Since November 27th, only three teams have scored more Premier League goals than Fulham (23). By contrast, no side has failed to score in more games in the division in that time than the Cottagers (5, level with Sheffield United).
Aston Villa have lost three of their last six Premier League games (W2 D1), as many as in their previous 21 combined (W14 D4 L3). The Villans haven’t lost back-to-back league games since last May.
Fulham have faced 46 shots in their last two home Premier League games (21 vs Everton, 25 vs Bournemouth), with that making up 33% of the shots they’ve faced on home soil this season (46/141). The last team to face more than 20 shots (21+) in three home games in a row in the Premier League were Norwich City between August 2019 and October 2019 (four in a row).
After not scoring in his first 10 Premier League appearances, Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz has scored three in his last two, including a brace last time out against Bournemouth. He’s the fourth Cottagers player to score a league brace this season (also Willian, Iwobi, Jiménez), their most in a Premier League season since 2010-11 (Dembélé, Dempsey, Baird, Duff, Zamora, Davies, Hangeland).
Ollie Watkins has been directly involved in 18 goals in 23 away Premier League appearances for Aston Villa under Unai Emery (11 goals, 7 assists). He has also scored in five of his last six Premier League appearances in London (5 goals).
