Paul, Plymouth Argyle fan: I’m conflicted too like Nick, Norwich fan (20.25). As an Argyle fan, not sure if I want Hull to lose and have nothing to play for against us next weekend or Hull win and Norwich then need to beat Birmingham to guarantee a play off place, which would also keep Argyle up.

    Ozan Tufan (40 mins)

    All-square!

    Oh dear, oh dear.

Ipswich look to play out from the back but Vaclav Hladky's pass into Sam Morsy is leapt upon by Jean-Michael Seri and the Ivory Coast international keeps his cool to lay it off to Ozan Tufan.

Tufan makes no mistake with a confident finish into the unguarded net.

City are good value for that leveller.

I don't think we'll see Axel Tuanzebe after the break.

The Ipswich right back is on a booking and is directly up against Hull dangerman Jaden Philogene.

Not being funny but what was Axel Tuanzebe doing there? He was all over the place. He's a lucky, lucky man to stay on field.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 36 mins

    Hull City 0-1 Ipswich

Big chance for the home side as Jaden Philogene gets in behind down the Hull left.

He goes to dink the ball over Vaclav Hladky but the goalkeeper denies him.

Axel Tuanzebe is booked for Town for taking Ozan Tufan out as the ball ran to Philogene.

    Hull City 0-1 Ipswich

Alfie Jones bundles Omari Hutchinson to the ground as the on-loan Chelsea man motors forward down the Town left.

Leif Davis squares it back for Conor Chaplin and his effort deflects behind for a corner.

    Nice routine.

Massimo Luongo pokes the ball wide from close range from the following corner.

Steve George: Always been a huge Ipswich fan! And after the Baggies' abject display today even more so.

Not only would an Ipswich win guarantee Norwich a play-off spot, it would all but secure West Brom their place as well as Albion would remain three points above Hull but with a vastly superior goal difference.

    Hull City 0-1 Ipswich

Axel Tuanzebe gives away a dangerous free-kick for a late challenge on Fabio Carvalho 30 yards out wide on the Tigers left.

It's whipped in with real intent by Abdus Omur but Tuanzebe gets in the way.

  9. Postpublished at 27 mins

    Hull City 0-1 Ipswich

The home side win their first corner down their right after breaking into space behind the Ipswich midfield.

Luke Woolfenden heads the initial corner away before Axel Tuanzebe gets in the way of Fabio Carvalho's shot after the ball comes back in.

You couldn't ask for a better start. 19 minutes in, got that first goal. It's took the sting out of these Hull supporters.

    Hull City 0-1 Ipswich

That's dulled the atmosphere in the MKM Stadium somewhat, other than the pocket of Ipswich fans who are making a real racket now.

Fabio Carvalho clips an effort wide from 20 yards out after some nice build-up from the home side.

    There's more goals in this.

Charlie, Bicester: This season has been so good! Ipswich deserve to be back in the big time and McKenna has done such a good job!

Andy from Leicester: As a Leicester fan, I’m happy to say for the first time this season.. Come on Ipswich…

Nick, Norwich fan: I'm feeling very conflicted about that goal...

An Ipswich win tonight will confirm Norwich's place in the top six but of course it will also move Town closer to automatic promotion...

    Hull 0-1 Ipswich

    Peter Swan

It's down this left side where there's space. Only two little passes and it opened everything up.

Tyler Morton has to do better. He's missed the ball altogether. Don't give people like George Hirst opportunities. Bad defending.

    George Hirst (19 mins)

Huge goal from the returning striker!

Back for his first appearance since Boxing Day, George Hirst is straight back in the goals!

Wes Burns, back after six games out himself, hits a low cross into the near post from the Town right and Tyler Morton should clear it but takes a massive airkick at it.

Hirst doesn't need a second invitation and tucks it away first time.

Ipswich two points from the Premier League, as it stands.

Tim in Abingdon: Who needs permutations? The mighty Oxford United have already permutated!!

Congratulations to the U's for booking their place in the League One play-offs earlier this afternoon.

    Hull City 0-0 Ipswich

The game's just starting to click into gear now.

The Tigers work the ball really neatly through the thirds but the industrious Sam Morsy breaks it down for the away side.

    Hull 0-0 Ipswich

It feels like a semi-final. It is, that's what it is. It's building up to a good game. Hull always look better when they play quickly.

  19. Postpublished at 12 mins

    Hull City 0-0 Ipswich

Hull's record against the other top teams hasn't been great this season, certainly at home.

In fact, the Tigers have won just eight games in front of their own fans in the league all campaign, compared to 11 on the road.

Dan: 2am here in Bangkok, but too nervous to sleep. Come on Town, don't leave it until the last day!!!

Anon: Come on Hull ( never thought I’d say that) from a nervous Leeds fan.

It's that time of year too, isn't it? Wanting a favour from one of your team's rivals!

And good to have you along for the ride Dan.
