  2. goal

GOAL: Bristol City 0-1 Prestonpublished at 12:57 British Summer Time 3 May

    Emil Riis (28 mins)

    Huge goal at Ashton Gate...

The travelling fans are in rapture.

Emil Riis might be playing his last game for the club as he is out of contract but he has nodded North End ahead from five yards out from a corner.

Max O'Leary was pinned on his line and the marking wasn't great either.

Bristol City are down to sixth as things stand, while Preston are safe.

  3. Postpublished at 12:57 British Summer Time 3 May

    Plymouth 1-0 Leeds

Leeds will back themselves to get back in this.

They've scored 93 goals in 45 Championship matches this season and 10 in their past two.

They're reacted well to going a goal down but, as it stands, they won't be winning the title today.

  4. 'A good defensive display'published at 12:56 British Summer Time 3 May

    Bristol City 0-0 Preston

    Alan Kelly
Former Preston keeper on BBC Radio Lancashire

Looking at the opening 25 minutes, Bristol have had all the possession, but have failed to do anything with it.

It's been a good defensive display from Preston so far.

A long way to go yet.

Calum Chambers getting sent off at Carrow Road in the Wilshere v Ramsey Derby. Couldn't make it up.

    Paul, Dublin

I’ve supported my home team of Norwich City for 60 years and am disgusted with the way the club have treated Johannes Hoff Thorup. Of course results and some performances have been terrible, but this was always a long-term project and has been derailed just to get Jack Wilshere into the coach’s position. Struggling to raise any enthusiasm and will not be attending any games next season, first time since 1966!

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:56 British Summer Time 3 May

    Bristol City 0-0 Preston

Tempers flair at Ashton Gate as Preston's Ryan Ledson thunders into a challenge on Joe Williams in midfield.

Referee James Linington brandishes a yellow card but Ledson might count himself lucky it wasn't worse.

  7. goal

GOAL: Swansea 1-0 Oxfordpublished at 12:55 British Summer Time 3 May

    Ji-Sung Eom (23 mins)

Super strike from Ji-Sung Eom puts the Swans ahead!

He cuts in from the left, dances into the box and curls a sweet, sweet strike into the far top corner.

    Beauty!

  8. 'Boro must be wary'published at 12:55 British Summer Time 3 May

    Coventry 0-0 Middlesbrough

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Tees

Down the flanks Coventry are doing really well, they've done us a couple of time on both flanks.

We've got to deal with the men they're bringing forward. They've got progressive players who are looking to overlap.

We've got to be wary defensively.

  9. goal

GOAL: Norwich 3-0 Cardiffpublished at 12:54 British Summer Time 3 May

    Borja Sainz (23 mins)

    You fear for Cardiff here...

Marcelino Nunez adds an assist to his early brace as he tees up Borja Sainz to fire past Ethan Horvath.

    West Brom 1-1 Luton

Alex Mowatt takes aim from distance for Albion and Luton are slow to close him down.

His effort drifts wide of the target but it wasn't too far away.

  11. Postpublished at 12:53 British Summer Time 3 May

    Burnley 1-1 Millwall

Burnley were trailing just eight minutes ago.

In the blink of an eye they're top!

A slight scare for the Championship's best defence as Japhet Tanganga's header forces James Trafford into a stop.

"Leeds are falling apart again" echoes, albeit not at full gusto, around Turf Moor. They know the score at Argyle but there’s a long way to go yet!

That goal has set the cat amongst the pigeons!

Mustapha Bundu had gone really close moments before setting up the opener, which saw his shot bounce off the post and off Sam Byram to go in.

The Home Park faithful might be watching their side play their final game in the Championship for at least a year but they are having a good time doing it.

  14. goal

GOAL: Norwich 2-0 Cardiffpublished at 12:53 British Summer Time 3 May

    Marcelino Nunez (17 mins)

Two in four minutes for Marcelino Nunez as he sends the free-kick into the top corner, after Calum Chambers was dismissed for a foul on Josh Sargent.

Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey would both have been proud of that one.

The Canaries look set to finish on a high.

  15. Postpublished at 12:52 British Summer Time 3 May

    West Brom 1-1 Luton

Now then... with Hull leading, Luton are down as things stand.

Unless they can get themselves ahead, the Hatters are going to need either Derby or Preston to go behind to move out of the bottom three in the live table.

Long way to go, of course.

  16. Postpublished at 12:52 British Summer Time 3 May

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Blackburn

While nets are bulging elsewhere in true Championship style, we're still waiting for out first goal of the afternoon here.

Even stevens so far on terms of possession and chances.

Gustavo Hamer slices a strike over the bar for the hosts.

  17. Postpublished at 12:51 British Summer Time 3 May

    Derby 0-0 Stoke

Almost a calamity in the Stoke goal...

Ben Wilmot fires it hard and low back across his own penalty area. There isn't a Rams player in sight but Viktor Johansson slides to clear and is close to deflecting it back towards his own goal. Luckily for the Potters, it bounces clear.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:51 British Summer Time 3 May

    Coventry 0-0 Middlesbrough

Hayden Hackney has his name taken for a crude haul back of Tatsuhiro Sakamoto on the Coventry right.

He was actually sent off for two yellows in the opening 20 minutes of the reverse fixture at the Riverside. He'll seek to avoid a repeat of that today.

Morgan Whittaker warmed the palms of Ben Wilson with a low strike from an angle a few moments ago - their first shot on target.

  19. Postpublished at 12:50 British Summer Time 3 May

    Portsmouth 0-1 Hull City

    Dan George
    BBC Sport at Fratton Park

Wow, absolute pandemonium in the away end to my right.

An amber flare has been let off as the Hull fans chant "we are staying up".

That is a huge goal for the Tigers.

  20. A decent contest as Allen says farewellpublished at 12:50 British Summer Time 3 May

    Swansea 0-0 Oxford

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

It is Joe Allen appreciation day at the Swansea.Com Stadium, as one of Wales' finest ever footballers plays his final game before retirement.

Allen led the home side having been given the captain's armband for the day, and he has been prominent both in and out of possession early on.

The atmosphere is buoyant, with both sets of fans enjoying a final day which comes without pressure.

Though there is little to play for, the intensity level from both sides has been decent so far.
