  2. 'Excellent finish from Daly'published at 16:29 British Summer Time 18 May

    Aston Villa 1-1 Manchester City

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Two

Rachel Daly here to spoil the party. It was a tight call as to whether she was offside or not, but when she got the chance to score it is an excellent finish. Puts it right into the side netting, the window that is so hard to get down to for a goalkeeper.

  3. goal

GOAL - Aston Villa 1-1 Man Citypublished at 16:27 British Summer Time 18 May

    Rachel Daly (67 mins)

Rachel Daly picks up the ball on the left-hand side and drifts inside, calmly finishing with the outside of her right boot.

A lovely finish and that just about sums it up for Manchester City.

  4. goal

GOAL - Leicester 0-2 Liverpoolpublished at 16:27 British Summer Time 18 May

    Leanne Kiernan (67 mins)

Off the bench and Leanne Kiernan scores with her first touch!

  5. Postpublished at 16:26 British Summer Time 18 May

    Aston Villa 0-1 Manchester City

    Emma Smith
    BBC Sport at Villa Park

A huge, and well deserved, ovation for Steph Houghton as she comes on for her final professional appearance - and cheers from the away fans every time she touches the ball.

Although by sending on Houghton for a final lap, Gareth Taylor is perhaps implying he knows that the title jig is up.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:26 British Summer Time 18 May

    Aston Villa 0-1 Man City

A lovely moment for Steph Houghton who comes on in her final game to a standing ovation.

She receives a warm applause from both sets of fans as alanna Kennedy makes way.

Leila Ouahabi also comes on for Kerstin Casparij.

  7. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 4-0 Brightonpublished at 16:26 British Summer Time 18 May

    Jorelyn Carabali (og, 67 mins)

Arsenal extend their lead even further.

It's a lovely cross by Beth Mead from a corner and Laia Codinais there to send a header towards goal at the back post.

Jorelyn Carabali tries to clear it, but sends her header onto the crossbar and it bounces back and into the net.

  8. Postpublished at 16:26 British Summer Time 18 May

    Arsenal 3-0 Brighton

    Vivianne Miedema is loving this.

She times her run excellently to get into the Brighton box but a defender jumps in to block her close-range effort.

  9. Postpublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 18 May

    Aston Villa 0-1 Manchester City

    Emma Smith
    BBC Sport at Villa Park

It's a very strange atmosphere at Villa Park - City are continuing to dominate play, but the lack of energy and belief is evident when they move the ball forward.

They know their efforts are 99% likely to be in vain.

  10. Postpublished at 16:23 British Summer Time 18 May

    Aston Villa 0-1 Man City

Manchester City have got absolutely nothing to lose here. They might as well just go for it and chuck everything at it.

Yet, it all feels a touch flat.

  11. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 3-0 Brightonpublished at 16:23 British Summer Time 18 May

    Vivianne Miedema (64 mins)

Beth Mead slips a lovely pass into the Brighton box and Vivianne Miedema is there to make an immediate impact off the bench.

Will that be the final goal she scores for Arsenal?

  12. Postpublished at 16:22 British Summer Time 18 May

    Aston Villa 0-1 Man City

Kerstin Casparij sends one into the area but Mary Fowler can't get there and Noelle Maritz makes a good block.

Corner to City but that also comes to nothing.

    Tottenham 1-1 West Ham

West Ham decide it's time to make a change.

  14. 'City have ultimately fallen short due to squad depth'published at 16:21 British Summer Time 18 May

    Aston Villa 0-1 Manchester City

    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Two

You're looking at the Manchester City bench to see what options they have to change it, how can they bring another level of energy? That is where ultimately they have fallen short this season.

Bunny Shaw broke her foot a few games ago, out for the rest of the season and the drop off has been monumental. It has had such a ripple effect on the whole team. Squad depth is something they absolutely do need to address.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:21 British Summer Time 18 May

    Arsenal 2-0 Brighton

Vivianne Miedema is on to make her final appearance for Arsenal.

Frida Maanum and Laia Codina also come on.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:20 British Summer Time 18 May

    Man Utd 0-5 Chelsea

No hat trick today for Mayra Ramirez but what a performance it has been. She makes way for Aggie Beever-Jones while Melanie Leupolz comes off for Sophie Ingle.

  17. '5-0 down at Old Trafford is embarrassing'published at 16:19 British Summer Time 18 May

    Man Utd 0-5 Chelsea

    Natasha Dowie
Reading and England striker on the BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a desire - to be the first, the second, to not give up on anything even though you're 4-0 up, to get that fifth.

It's that ruthlessness. They're not happy with being 4-0 up, they want to be five.

I talked about pride for Manchester United, they're not showing that right now.

5-0 down at Old Trafford is embarrassing.

The league unfortunately was lost at the Arsenal game .. the lack of Bunny Shaw has been colossal for last 2 games. Not just goals but hold up play. Chelsea smelt blood and deserve it on the ability to close it out when City couldn't.. Next year will be City Year if they keep team in tact.
