It's a fairytale ending. If you could have written a book this is how you would write it. They were chanting for her. That was Fran Kirby personified. Little one-two, composure to shape it into the far corner.

You can see how much it means to her. The first thing she wanted to do was celebrate with the fans.

I was looking down at Emma Hayes. I've never seen anyyone look so happy for a player.

  4. INJURY TIMEpublished at 16:50 British Summer Time 18 May

    Aston Villa 1-2 Man City

There'll be six minutes added on at Villa Park.

Enough time for a miracle? It doesn't seem so.

    Arsenal 5-0 Brighton

Eight minutes added at the end of normal time.

Enough time for some more goals?

  6. CLOSE!published at 16:49 British Summer Time 18 May

    Bristol City 0-3 Everton

Bristol City have given it their all in the second half but they are looking weary now and Everton nearly add a fourth.

Substitute Martina Piemonte is waiting in the middle after a cutback from the left but her shot is deflected wide.

It really should be four in the next attack, Katja Snoejis is slipped through, round the keeper but sends her shot into the side netting.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:49 British Summer Time 18 May

    Aston Villa 1-2 Man City

Demi Stokes is on for Chloe Kelly.

    BBC Sport at Villa Park

The attendance at Villa Park is announced as 8,912 - just shy of the 10,000 I heard Villa were hoping for today.

There's very much a holiday atmosphere here now, a knowledge that whatever happens doesn't really matter any more in the grander scheme of things.

  9. goal

    Frida Maanum (88 mins)

    It's five.

Once again, it's Vivianne Miedema who has an impact, but this time she doesn't score.

She plays a pass towards Frida Maanum who is completely free inside the Brighton half.

She charges towards goal and powers an effort past Sophie Baggaley.

    Fran Kirby (85 mins)

What a way to win it!

An absolutely thumping victory from Chelsea and sealed with a goal from Fran Kirby on her final Chelsea appearance.

What a way to sign off her nine years.

Big smiles from Emma Hayes on the touchline.

  11. Postpublished at 16:47 British Summer Time 18 May

    Aston Villa 1-2 Man City

Freya Gregory strikes from the left-hand side and it's a decent save from Khiara Keating, who has already won the Women's Super League's Golden Glove. She will be disappointed not to have kept another clean sheet today.

  12. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 2-1 West Hampublished at 16:46 British Summer Time 18 May

    Jessica Naz (85 mins)

Tottenham get back ahead late on!

Jessica Naz receives a well-weighted Grace Clinton through-ball and powers an effort into the far corner.

Tottenham have lacked their shooting boots as they've tried to get back in front. They've done it now.

As a United fan it's not the way we would have liked to have finished the season but we're still partying from last weekend. Our first major trophy, I'm very proud of these girls and glad the title is going to Chelsea and not City.

Totally agree with Tim 16.35, Chelsea with Sam for the best part of this season would have been around 10 points clear by now.

GOAL - Leicester 0-3 Liverpoolpublished at 16:43 British Summer Time 18 May

    Leanne Kiernan (83 mins)

That wraps it up for Liverpool!

Leanne Kiernan bursts through after Gemma Bonner's long ball over the top, shifts the ball onto her right foot and lashes it past Janina Leitzig.

A double off the bench for the Ireland striker.

This is how the table stands now.

Chelsea are back to winning the league on goal difference.

    Emma Hayes won't care, though.
