I can't speak highly enough of this Chelsea team and their mentality. They are mentality monsters. They really are - like Manchester City in the men's game.

In mid-week, Arsenal's men needed help from local rivals Tottenham to boost their Premier League title challenge. They didn't get it.

Today, Manchester City needed help from local rivals Man Utd to boost their WSL title challenge. So far, same story.

Good hit from Laura Blindkilde Brown. A lovely ball from Mary Fowler and the former Aston Villa player does well to strike on the half-volley but it hammers off the bar.

City could really do with another before half time to keep the spirits up.

Lovely save! Mackenzie Arnold makes a good stop for West Ham once again as she dives down to her left to push a Martha Thomas effort around the post.

We've not really seen Chloe Kelly and Lauren Hemp picking up the ball and driving into the box and taking on players.

Yes they can go out wide and they have the speed to do it and capacity to whip the balls in but they are so dangerous driving at players and forcing them into errors. Jess Park needs to get herself in the game more as well, she can be key for them.

The Liverpool supporters are not happy as Emma Koivisto, in her last match for the club, appears to be brought down inside the penalty area by Julie Thibaud.

The referee disagrees, though, and awards a goal kick.

Chelsea are grabbing all the attention so far. They are just more active. The fans are louder, the staff are more animated, the players are communicating constantly and Mayra Ramirez is putting on a show.
