I hope Hurtig keeps that goal, it's nice for her to score after so long away from the team.

GOAL - Arsenal 4-0 Brightonpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November

    Lina Hurtig (76 mins)

    Another!

Katie McCabe sends a corner towards the near post and Lina Hurtig heads it towards goal.

Sophie Baggaley saves but it ends up in the back of the net after going off the leg of Maisie Symonds.

It's been given as a Hurtig goal for the time being, but that could likely go down as an own goal.

How have Arsenal not scored there!?!?

She collides with Sophie Baggaley, who is now down and receiving treatment.

  12. Postpublished at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November

    Arsenal 3-0 Brighton

The second half has been much more even than the first.

Brighton's momentum has subsided somewhat but Arsenal aren't finding it as easy to play through them.

The Gunners will be happy they have a three-goal cushion.

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November

    Arsenal 3-0 Brighton

Another great effort from Kiko Seike!

She shifts the ball between her feet and fires towards the far corner but is denied by the crossbar.

This is Brighton's best spell of the game.

It's gone very much to plan at Etihad Stadium. Fans have enjoyed it from a Manchester City perspective but plenty are heading in during the half-time break to get a hot drink or food. It's getting colder!

Slightly better from Brighton, but it doesn't result in anything of note.

Fran Kirby and Kiko Seike both look for ways into the box.

In the end, Seike plays the ball over the top towards Kirby but miscues her delivery and it goes behind.

City in control at the break thanks to a brace from Khadija Shaw.
