Evaliina Summanen does well to nick the ball off Jill Roord in midfield, but City's press is so relentless that they win it back within seconds.

It is hard to see what Robert Vilahamn can do to change things at the minute.

Oh so close to a third goal for Man City.

Aoba Fujino makes a brilliant run down the right and picks out Lauren Hemp at the back post.

The winger's shot is blocked but Jill Roord follows in and smashes the ball into the bottom corner only to see the offside flag up on the far side.

Clare Hunt is going to have nightmares about Khadija Shaw. The Jamaican striker is completely dominating her.

Shaw runs over to the fans in our stand, turns and shows them her number with her arms outstretched and welcomes the celebrations of her team-mates.

In the background, Tottenham's players were huddling in the box, trying to find a quick solution on how to deal with her.

In his pre-match press conference Gareth Taylor said that he wanted City to "be on it early and impose ourselves".

Well being two goals up within the first 15 minutes is doing exactly that.

    Khadija Shaw (15 mins)

She's done it again! Khadija Shaw just loves a goal against Tottenham.

Lauren Hemp dances around Ella Morris on the left before curling a dangerous cross into the box, and Shaw has the easiest job of nodding it home beyond Becky Spencer.

"It could be 3-0" are the words going around near me.

Tottenham are sending an invite to City each time they play out from the back and the hosts are taking it.

A first attack of note for Tottenham as Jess Naz drags the team up field with a great burst forward.

The midfield then play it around before finding Beth England on the edge of the box, but her attempt to find a team mate sees the ball roll through to Khiara Keating.

An unsurprising booking for Guro Bergsvand.

Emily Fox charges through the middle and is brought down by the Brighton player to prevent her getting any further.

City are just toying with Tottenham and look very dangerous every time they go forward.

Kerstin Casparij is fed to the by line and flashes a brilliant cross throught the six yard box, but no one in blue can meet it in the middle.

I can't see the City Spurs game, but it hasn't started well for us Spurs fans, and I can't see it improving.

Tottenham are all over the place at the back early on here.

Luana Buhler gives the ball away in her own defensive third this time and it is pounced upon by City's high press.

Fortunately for the defender the subsequent shot from Yui Hasegawa is dealt with by Becky Spencer.

Predictably Man City have taken full control of proceedings after that lightning fast start.

Tottenham have hardly touched the ball in the opening six minutes or so.

Frida Maanum tries her luck once more from distance.

This time it's met by Sophia Baggaley, but it required a good save.

Maanum sends a powerful drive towards goal from around 25 yards out, but Baggaley gets both hands to it to turn the ball around the post.
