Gareth Taylor names the same Manchester City side who recorded a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace.

Subs: Yamashita, Coombs, Fowler, Kelly, Blindkilde Brown, Prior, Thomas, Murphy, O'Carroll.

There is just one change to the Tottenham side who narrowly beat West Ham in their last match.

Defender Luana Buhler comes in for striker Martha Thomas, suggesting a formation change.

Tottenham XI: Spencer, Morris, Bartrip, Naz, England, Vinberg, Hunt, Buhler, Spence, Summanen, Neville.

It gives the team some consistency so they know where they are at. They seem to be taking some time to make sure it is the right appointment. For the players I think that was important to know where they stand for the next few games. For Slegers as well, if she wants to put her name in the hat this is an opportunity for her to impress as well.

I really liked the brand of football they were playing [against Man Utd]. It felt like it was quite different and more the Arsenal way. They showed a lot of heart and desire. I thought they were impressive. They will probably be disappointed to come away with just a point. It looks positive at the moment.

Arsenal defender Lotten Wubben-Moy joined BBC Radio 4's Today Programme to discuss her brilliant work in the community off the pitch.

We'll bring you more of that at half-time, but here is what the England international had to say about Renee Slegers.

"Renee’s a wonderful coach. I worked on a more individual basis with her. She mainly took the individual sessions with players as the assistant.

"So now being able to take that understanding of the player’s on an individual level to the team level now, I think she’s more able to make decisions that are more in line with our ambitions and our nuances as player’s, with games coming up that require us to be at the best level we can be to contribute to the team."

  5. Slegers 'ready for' Arsenal jobpublished at 18:32 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November

It’s always difficult when Jonas [Eidevall] was the manager for so long. We all know that managers delegate with what other people can do but I think she is great. As a character she is super cool, calm and collected. She is so easy to talk to, any session she delivered was always really organised and well put together and had a complete purpose.

She has that experience now. She took over from Jonas when he left at previous clubs and has these bits of managerial experience. If she gets the job she is a great human being, she is a great coach. She just needs more experience within those roles. She was always so approachable, easy to talk to and just loved her football. She wants this big role next and knows she is ready for it.

  6. Cushing 'an incredible candidate' for Arsenalpublished at 18:30 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November

    Arsenal v Brighton (19:00 GMT)

    Ellen White
Former England striker on the Women's Football Weekly podcast

Nick Cushing was really good at the communication side as well. I got to work a little bit with him. He left in the first year I was with him, but his detail was phenomenal on the pitch and the technical aspect was incredible.

Players who want to thrive, who want to develop and want to learn and want to do well will thrive under him. He wants to improve players but he wants to win things. He has got experience in the WSL, he has won things in the WSL so I think he is an incredible candidate for Arsenal and that brand of football that they want to play. I think he could bring that to Arsenal.

  7. 'I can't speak higher for Cushing'published at 18:27 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November

I can’t speak higher for Nick Cushing. He is without a doubt one of the best coaches I have ever had. All the things from a technical level I learned under Nick Cushing at Man City. I absolutely loved my time at Man City and playing under him. When Nick left the WSL to go and coach in the MLS, I always thought he would be an unbelievable fit for Arsenal.

  8. Slegers in charge until Decemberpublished at 18:24 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November

Last week Arsenal confirmed that interim boss Renee Slegers will take charge of the team until at least December.

The Dutchwoman took over on 15 October when former manager Jonas Eidevall resigned.

She has been tipped as a contender to take the role permanently, while New York City head coach and former Manchester City women boss Nick Cushing has also emerged as a candidate.

This week's episode of BBC Radio 5 Live's Women's Football Weekly podcast discussed both candidates. Let's see what they had to say...

Tottenham sit outside of the top half by two points. They've won two, drawn one and lost three of their opening six games.

At the bottom, Everton, West Ham and Aston Villa are all level on two points - but Everton are 12th on goal difference.

  11. Good eveningpublished at 18:15 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November

Are you looking forward to a bit of Friday night Women's Super League action?

We've got two games coming up this evening, with things getting under way at Emirates Stadium at 19:00 GMT when Arsenal host Brighton.

Later, league leaders Manchester City will look to continue their unbeaten start and extend their lead at the top when they face Tottenham.

But let's focus on Arsenal's game for now. It's been a difficult campaign, with Jonas Eidevall resigning and Renee Slegers remaining in interim charge as they continue their search for a new manager.

Brighton sit above them in the table and have lost just one game this season - a narrow defeat by Manchester City in September.

Will Arsenal get back to winning ways after drawing with Manchester United last time out? Or will Brighton be too much to handle?

    Let's get started.
