  1. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 20:49 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Wrexham 0-2 Stevenage

Paul Mullin and Steven Fletcher are off the bench for Wrexham at the break.

Nice options to have for Phil Parkinson.

Ollie Palmer and Matty James are the players to make way.

Long way back for the hosts against a side who have kept six consecutive away clean sheets in all competitions.

  2. Postpublished at 20:49 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Wycombe 0-1 Barnsley

A corner right at the start of the second period for Barnsley is volleyed over the bar by Marc Roberts.

Jon Russell's fifth goal of the season still separates the sides.

Birmingham are the sharper team, but Town have matched them in most areas.

There are a lot of positives in there from that first half.

Quite a few goals around tonight.

Here we go for the second 45 minutes...

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:46 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Huddersfield 0-0 Birmingham

Whisper it, but just like in the last round of fixtures, none of the top four sides in League One are winning.

Goalless is fair enough. The game has yet to come to life. Blues have had a couple of glimpses of goal but Lyndon Dykes was denied by Jacob Chapman while Cristoph Klarer nodded over the bar. At the other end Herbie Kane's stooping volley from the edge of the box flashed past the post.

Hoping for better after the turnaround.

  6. Postpublished at 20:46 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Huddersfield 0-0 Birmingham

Blues ending the half on the front foot as Keshi Anderson's cross cannons behind off a defender but Jacob Chapman punches the corner clear.

    Just one minute added. Mercifully.

Crewe, who started in second, have been pegged back on the stroke of half-time by Wimbledon, who are currently sixth after making it 1-1 through Josh Neufville following Jamie Knight-Lebel's opener for the hosts.

Leaders Walsall are 2-0 behind at midtable Fleetwood, where Town scored twice inside six minutes through Shaun Rooney and James Bolton

Bromley are in a pickle at Chesterfield, where Omar Sowunmi was shown a straight red card for a challenge on Tom Naylor before Armando Dobra's strike gave the hosts a 1-0 lead.

Bradford lead 1-0 against visiting bottom side Morecambe, and Notts County are ahead by the same scoreline at home to second-bottom Carlisle, putting the Bantams and Magpies level on points with Crewe as it stands in the promotion race.

Relegation-threatened Newport took the lead at play-off-chasing Salford through Shane McLoughlin, but the hosts made it 1-1 from the penalty spot through Hakeeb Adelukan.

Gillingham lead 1-0 at Grimsby thanks to Doug Tharme's own goal, Tranmere have scored the only goal at Swindon through Josh Davison, Joe White has netted the opener for MK Dons at home to Harrogate, and Accrington and Cheltenham are drawing 0-0 at the Wham Stadium.

Stop the ride Exeter want to get off - they're getting thumped 4-0 at home by the juggernaut that is Leyton Orient.

Azeem Abdulai has a brace with Sean Clare and Dilan Markanday also on target.

Charlton's upward trajectory also seems to be continuing with Matt Godden and Josh Edwards giving them a 2-0 lead over Bristol Rovers.

Stockport started the evening in fifth place and a goal from Ollie Norwood means they're 1-0 up over bottom of the table Shrewsbury.

Ashley Fletcher has edged Blackpool 1-0 ahead of Lincoln.

Two strugglers are having good evenings. Burton looked dead and buried a fortnight ago but Rumarn Burrell and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson have found the net as they lead Reading 2-0.

And Peterborough are desperate to end their poor run and tumble down the table - Mahamadou Susoho, who is on loan from Manchester City, has edged them ahead of Wigan.

  9. Postpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Huddersfield 0-0 Birmingham

Another inviting cross from Alex Cochrane, this time from the Blues left flank, looks set to find Lyndon Dykes at the far post, but the Scotland man hits the deck, missing the ball, and claims he was being held by Brodie Spencer.

Nothing doing, says ref Adam Herczeg, and me too, for what little it's worth.

Still playing in the late kick-off where Birmingham's Alex Cochrane curls an inviting cross to the back post from a free-kick with that trusty left foot, only for Cristoph Klarer to nod powerfully over Jacob Chapman's crossbar under pressure.

The home fans are growing restless as Chapman takes his time to restart the game. They are not here for a 0-0, even if it's against the leaders.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Bolton 2-1 Northampton

That own goal on the the half-time whistle will hurt the visitors.

Skipper George Thomason had Bolton ahead after just three minutes but Northampton responded superbly with Liam Shaw getting them level seven minutes later.

Cameron McGeehan shot straight at home goalkeeper Luke Southwood before his opposite number, Nik Tzanev took over with excellent stops from Szabolcs Schon and Thomason's thunderous volley.

But Tzanev was powerless to prevent Liam Shaw's own goal and the Cobblers have work to do in the second 45 minutes.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Wycombe 0-1 Barnsley

The visitors lead but they've been on the back foot for much of that first period.

Jon Russell's deflected shot after 10 minutes has Barnsley in front but they could have been behind even before that with Daniel Udoh firing over the bar after Donovan Pines had misjudged a long ball.

Ben Killip in the visitors' goal has denied Cameron Humphreys and Jack Grimmer and needed to make smart saves from Luke Leahy and Richard Kone.

They surely can't soak up that much pressure in the second half and hope to hold on to their advantage.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Wrexham 0-2 Stevenage

Stevenage have beaten some fine teams on their travels this season, but as things stand, this would top the lot.

Wrexham's 15-game unbeaten home run is in serious jeopardy after Dan Kemp and Jamie Reid found the net, thanks in part to some slack goalkeeping from Arthur Okonkwo.

Big 15 minutes for Phil Parkinson and a huge 45 minutes to come in the Red Dragons season, you feel.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Fleetwood 2-0 Walsall

Fleetwood are within 45 minutes of doing the double over the side sat 12 points clear at the top of League Two.

Shaun Rooney and James Bolton scored from set-pieces in the space of five minutes to stun Mat Sadler's men.

Walsall led in this fixture in October, twice, and 2-1 at half-time before going on to lose 6-2. How the Saddlers fans would love to flip the script this evening.

  15. goal

GOAL Bolton 2-1 Northamptonpublished at 20:31 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

Liam Shaw (44 mins - own goal)

    Oh...

That's a blow for Northampton right on half-time but huge for Bolton.

Aaron Collins sends in a low cross and Northampton's Liam Shaw turns it past his own goalkeeper.

  16. Postpublished at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Bolton 1-1 Northampton

Northampton goalkeeper Nik Tzanev keeps his team level with a very good save.

George Thomason already has one goal for Bolton and fancies another as he hammers a volley towards to the top corner but Tzanev keeps it out.

To use a cricketing term, Thomason 'middled' that and it's good work from the visiting goalkeeper.

Particularly while the pressure is on, Blues really need an outlet option upfront.

  18. CLOSE!published at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Fleetwood 2-0 Walsall

The runaway leaders are desperately trying to get back into this one before the break.

Harry Williams launches in a long throw which bounces through to Jamie Jellis at the far post, only for the midfielder to fire off target.

  19. CLOSE!published at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Crewe 1-0 Wimbledon

Jamie Knight-Lebel almost has a second for Crewe.

As he did for the opener, the Canada international turns a cross towards goal - this time supplied by Matus Holicek.

Goalkeeper Owen Goodman saves with his legs.

  20. League Two latestpublished at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

MK Dons are winless in four games but have taken the lead at home to Harrogate, scoring the opener through Joe White's finish from inside the box.

Notts County are two points behind Crewe in third as it stands, having gone ahead through Alassana Jatta's header from George Abbott's cross at home to second-bottom Carlisle.

Calum Kavanagh's strike has given Bradford a 1-0 advantage at home to bottom side Morecambe, so they're on course to be behind the Magpies on goal difference only.

Hakeeb Adelakun has drawn Salford, who are eighth as it stands, level at home to Newport, who started five points above the relegation zone.
