There's already been two top-flight games this weekend.

Hibernian moved up to third with a comfortable 3-0 win away to St Mirren tinged with some controversy after two disallowed goals for the hosts.

Falkirk, meanwhile, moved above Rangers into fourth despite being denied a win by bottom side Livingston's stoppage-time equaliser.

  12. Trio return from Euro strugglespublished at 14:03 GMT

It has been another midweek of underwhelming Scottish performances in European competition.

Today, Celtic and Rangers return to the task of trying to stay in touch with Premiership pacemakers Hearts after being were eased aside by Midtjylland and Roma respectively in the Europa League.

It is not often that a 0-0 draw will be cause for great celebration, but Aberdeen's Conference League point away to Larnaca was the one crumb of comfort for Scottish clubs.

Hearts are nine points clear of Celtic and 14 ahead of fifth-top Rangers, albeit the two Glasgow sides have a game in hand, while Aberdeen are in eighth but just two points clear of bottom side Livingston.
