Kev: We shouldn’t need to lift anyone for Saturday. Ashton Gate will be bouncing and the boys will be well up for it.

City Girl: Realistically, we were never going to get anything at Leeds - but I thought we’d make a better fist of it than we did. Really worried about Saturday now, on the back of two heavy defeats. Not sure we’re up to it.

Rob: Such a naive performance. To give away the goal difference like that is criminal. We’ve now let Blackburn and Coventry's results become more relevant.

Fevs: Very, very poor tonight. Result not good in context of Saturday, too. We don’t mark, we don’t pass on markers, we don’t make it hard for them. Liam has got to build these players back up for Saturday. The wrong combo in defence made life hard.

Zane: Evening. A dreadful performance. That's the last thing you want to do when you're in the play-off places. Going to be really tense on Saturday.

Lee Poole: Leeds were rampant. A bit of a reality check. We must dust ourselves down and win at home on Saturday. It's still in our hands.

Heather B, Leeds fan: I totally agree that Leeds should not sack Daniel Farke as he has done a good job. Why change if it's working?!

Tim: As a Southampton fan, I can see both sides of the Farke argument. When we got promoted under Nigel Adkins the club sacked him, which seemed unfair at the time. But we appointed Mauricio Pochettino and then Ronald Koeman, so that worked out fine. On the other hand, we sacked Russell Martin this season, which had zero positive impact on the club. If they are going to sack him, they need to do it in the summer - not 12 games in!

Harry, London: A few signings and I can see this Leeds team finishing top 10.

Alan in Fife: Total domination time for Bamford's home farewell.

Paul: How much calmer has life been for Leeds since Darlow took over as goalkeeper?

More from Leeds skipper Ethan Ampadu talking to Sky Sports...

On playing for a club as big as Leeds in the Premier League next season:

"It's massive. Like I said, we're going to enjoy this right now, we're going to focus on that a bit later but it's something we're looking forward to."

    On Daniel Farke:

"He's shown in the past he's got a lot of success. He's given us advice, he's given us tips, he's been there and done it so for us it's about learning that.

"He gives everyone that confidence to go and do what we can do."

    Leeds United

Leeds captain Ethan Ampadu speaking to Sky Sports:

"We celebrated like this after the last game, the last result ourselves with our family.

"We're a little bit annoyed that we had to play first [last Monday] because we wanted to celebrate with the fans but I think we're making up for it now."

    On being captain:

"For me it's about taking everything I learnt from last year and trying to put my own spin on it.

"I'm still in that learning phase. They make it look like I can lead so easily because we play so well.

"It's a team full of leaders and we're just going to enjoy this now."

    FT: Leeds 4-0 Bristol City

    Ian Woodcock
    BBC Sport at Elland Road

There's going to be some pretty tired Leeds fans heading into work and school tomorrow.

Some people are slowly starting to filter out now but the vast majority are still enjoying the party, as well they might.

These fans were robbed off this moment five years ago when promotion was confirmed with football behind closed doors because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In essence, this is a party they have been waiting to have since they were relegated from the Premier League back in 2004.

Their previous stay in the top flight last three years before relegation in 2023, they'll be hopeful that this time they're going up for a long time and not just a good time.

Confirmation of Leeds United's place atop the pile after that demolition of Bristol City.

The Whites will win the title at Plymouth on the final day if they match Burnley's result and can still hit that 100-point mark.

Bristol City's play-off chase also goes on until Saturday with Coventry, Millwall, Blackburn and Middlesbrough all in contention.

The Robins host relegation-battling Preston, Coventry welcome fellow chasers Boro, Millwall are at Burnley and Blackburn go to Sheffield United.

A city united by a group of staff. Hopefully not too many sore heads, because we want them to bring home the title.

It's these moments you can share with your family. There are ups and downs but moments like this make it all worthwhile.

I have no doubt they'll reach 100 points but there is a job still to do.

There is nothing better than seeing your side celebrate on your pitch with scarves all over the place.

I hope this is Ashton Gate on Saturday. This is what you aspire to - you want to see your team play football like that.

A few weeks ago, people were singing from the rooftops about how much City have improved and what they're going to do.

There's no reason why we can't put a performance on on Saturday and achieve something.
