Nice to see White and Partey. Gabriel and Calafiori the only big misses for tomorrow. Hope Arteta has a plan as we all know how Real Madrid can surprise teams.

Another dance tune, this time with a bit of piano mixed in. Always like a bit of dancey piano so I will let that slide.

And there ends the public section of training. Who knows what bangers are on the menu for the rest of the morning.

    Sadly, we will never know.

Not a Gooner, but I think Arsenal's biggest danger is themselves, their disciplinary record and in big games as well is shocking. They need to stay cool and not react as Real Madrid will undoubtedly be trying to get them down to 10.

If DJ Mikel really wants to step it up, he needs to get Slipknot blaring! Any other heavy/thrash/death metal band would also suffice!

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta revealed he played samba music before their match against Dinamo Zagreb earlier this year to “build the energy” of the players.

Arteta has stepped things up a bit now, with some pumping house music blaring out of a giant red speaker.

I am super confident as an Arsenal fan because Real Madrid's recent form doesn't support an overturn of three goal deficit but in the Champions League, stranger things have happened.

Real Madrid have to score four tomorrow and hope Arsenal don't score, in order to win. Is that genuinely likely? I'm not so sure.

    Clive, Suffolk

Arsenal have the best defensive record in the Premeir League and only conceded 3 goals in the League Phase of the Champions League. By contrast Real Madrid have kept one clean sheet in their last 10 games, conceding 14 goals in that time. Can't see Arsenal conceding four goals to Madrid without reply. Arsenal go through, probably to play PSG.

Are Arsenal a centre forward away from a Premier League title?

You look at Haaland when he came to City and in the first two seasons, the numbers that he hit were scary. When Manchester City were coming up against a low block, they were able to find ways to get Haaland to score.

That was the difference between them Real Madrid the other night - Arsenal had to play with intensity in the transitional game. Real Madrid commit so many men forward like Mbappe, Vini Jr, Bellingham, Valverde - it's kind of an attack vs defence when Arsenal win the ball because Real Madrid were massively open.

Whereas Arsenal in the Premier League, they come across teams who've figured them out in the sense that they only have a few ways to score. Take Brentford on Saturday, they didn't put out their strongest team but if you're defensively resolute... it's difficult for Arsenal without that number nine to create some magic. In them spaces, Arsenal struggle. I think a number nine for Arsenal is something that is priority.

    Chris Sutton
Former Chelsea striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think we all thought this was the season where Arsenal were really going to push for a title and that hasn't happened. If Arteta wins the Champions League it will be a brilliant season, but if he doesn't and I'm not so sure they will, then I think some Arsenal fans will think they have gone backwards this season.

Arteta has been there a long time and that makes this summer crucial because last summer he could get away with not signing a striker, but having Merino play centre forward next season won't work for supporters.

Arsenal's recent form might be a slight cause of concern for their fans as they head into the return leg against Real Madrid.

They have lost considerable ground in the title race after not winning in their past two Premier League games with Liverpool now all but guaranteed their 20th league title after taking a 13-point lead at the top.

They were denied by Everton 1-1 in the league before their Champions League first-leg tie while they also dropped points against Brentford in another 1-1 stalemate at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

    Arsenal's past five matches:

    • Arsenal 1-1 Brentford
    • Arsenal 3-0 Real Madrid
    • Everton 1-1 Arsenal
    • Arsenal 2-1 Fulham
    • Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea

A reminder that Arsenal have a 3-0 lead to defend as they get ready for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid.

That is largely thanks to Declan Rice who stunned the Spanish giants with two brilliant free kicks as the Gunners registered a famous win at Emirates Stadium last week.

After a goalless first half, Rice took control of the tie for the hosts in the second half.

The Premier League side were the better side all evening and took the lead in the 58th minute, when Rice curled the first of two excellent free-kicks round the Real Madrid wall into the corner of the net past Thibaut Courtois.

Rice scored his second with a free-kick of equal quality 12 minutes later, bending another long-range effort into the top right-hand corner to leave Madrid stunned.

Mikel Merino then made sure it was a memorable night for Mikel Arteta's side when he curled a shot into the bottom corner from inside the area just five minutes later.

Things only got worse for Madrid when Eduardo Camavinga was sent off in stoppage time for a second yellow card.
