Promotion contenders Leeds and Burnley have both come a cropper at The Den in recent weeks – and Millwall boss Neil Harris is aiming to make that a hat-trick as table-topping Sunderland arrive in south London.

The Lions have won all of their last three home fixtures 1-0 – part of a seven-match undefeated run in which they have conceded only twice – to surge to within two points of the top six.

“It’s fair to say we’re extremely confident at the moment,” Harris told BBC Radio London 94.9. "We know teams fear us, and so they should, at times.

“We know The Den has been a really tough place to come in the last nine months and we want to continue that.”

Sunderland have taken the league by storm under new boss Regis Le Bris and are unbeaten in their last eight games, although the last three of those have all resulted in draws.

After being held to scoreless encounters at both QPR and Preston, the Black Cats then let a two-goal lead slip at home to Coventry in their final game prior to the international break.

A point will take them back to the summit.

Plenty going on in the lunchtime games as Sheffield United climb above Sunderland to go top of the table by a single point.

Time for a look at what's coming up at 15:00 GMT...

  3. 'Burnley did just enough to hang on'published at 14:33 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    FT: Bristol City 0-1 Burnley

    Glen Little
Ex-Burnley winger on BBC Radio Lancashire

Burnley have done well, because at half-time Bristol City hadn't really offered much of a threat going forward and then we came out in that second half, had a couple of good chances.

It looked like we could get a second and go on and have a comfortable win, but it turned round. All credit to Bristol City they threw all the subs on they went for it. Yu Hirakawa came on and had a great chance to equalise and James Trafford stood up big.

In the end we had to dig deep and we did just enough to hang on.

Managerless Coventry City twice battle back from a goal down to snatch a point against high flying Sheffield United.

The Blades were down to 10 men for more than half the game, but manage to hold on for a draw that sends them top of the table.

    Coventry 2-2 Sheffield Utd

Bobby Thomas is again the target, but this time Sheffield United's Harry Souttar deals with him.

There is less than two minutes remaining at the CBS Arena.

    What can they do?

That is more than enough time for a late winner...

Still no away win for Cardiff since April, but they won't be complaining about that after holding on for a valuable point.

Plenty of huffing and puffing from Wednesday, who just couldn't quite find that moment of quality to breach the Bluebirds' back line for a second time.

    Bristol City 0-1 Burnley

It's all over. Burnley have seen it out and that's a huge three points for Scott Parker's side.

A 10th clean sheet of the season for the Clarets and they win two games on the bounce for the first time since September.

Jaidon Anthony's close-range finish on the rebound after Josh Brownhill's deflected effort was saved proves to be the difference.

That's now five games without a win at Ashton Gate for Bristol City (D3 L2).

  10. Postpublished at 14:25 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Coventry 2-2 Sheffield Utd

For a fraction of a moment, Bobby Thomas must have thought he was about to head Coventry into the lead.

He goes up to meet a cross from the right, but Sheffield United's Alfie Gilchrist gets to the ball just a fraction sooner and the effort balloons over the bar.

  12. Postpublished at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Sheffield Wednesday 1-1 Cardiff

Cardiff have been under the pump most of this second half - but they might have ended up with all three points just now.

Deep into added time, Ollie Tanner unleashes a low drive from distance and James Beadle has to dive to keep it out. Would have been massively against the run of play.

    Coventry 2-2 Sheffield Utd

Coventry have been without a permanent manager for two weeks now, and they are just a few minutes away from picking up their second huge result against on the competition high flyers in that time.

First they battled back to draw with Sunderland when the Black Cats were top of the table.

As it stands, Sheffield United are top if they can hold on for a point.

  14. Have Burnley weathered the storm?published at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Bristol City 0-1 Burnley

    Glen Little
Ex-Burnley winger on BBC Radio Lancashire

I don't want to speak too soon but it seems like we have weathered the storm.

Bristol seem to be a little flat at the moment. They are keeping it by the corner flag, it never normally works does it?

I feel ok now, we were hanging on. I think we have done enough to see this out.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Bristol City 0-1 Burnley

Bristol City's Rob Dickie trips up Jaidon Anthony on the halfway line and he's into the book. More time being killed here by Burnley now.

  16. Postpublished at 14:20 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Bristol City 0-1 Burnley

A perfect opportunity for Burnley to just run down the clock as they win a free-kick in the corner deep inside Bristol City's half.

They try to keep it in the corner but the hosts have it back.

  17. SEVEN ADDED MINUTESpublished at 14:18 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Bristol City 0-1 Burnley

A tenth clean sheet of the season is within touching distance for the best defence in the Championship.

Can Burnley hold on for what would be a vital three points in the race for promotion?

They've got seven minutes to cling on for...

  18. Postpublished at 14:17 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Coventry 2-2 Sheffield Utd

Coventry still have 10 minutes against the 10 men of Sheffield United to snatch all three points.

How much energy will the Blades have left in the tank after being a man down for so long?

  19. CLOSE!published at 14:17 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Sheffield Wednesday 1-1 Cardiff

Nearly the dream introduction for Anthony Musaba.

The Wednesday man gallops into the final third and thumps a drive that forces a diving stop from Jak Alnwick.

Next up, Pol Valentin gets around the back and cuts the ball across for Callum Paterson, but his attempt is deflected behind.

Pressure building on the Cardiff goal in these closing stages...

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:15 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

Bristol City boss Liam Manning is going for it. Striker Fally Mayulu is on for Max Bird.
