Promotion contenders Leeds and Burnley have both come a cropper at The Den in recent weeks – and Millwall boss Neil Harris is aiming to make that a hat-trick as table-topping Sunderland arrive in south London.

The Lions have won all of their last three home fixtures 1-0 – part of a seven-match undefeated run in which they have conceded only twice – to surge to within two points of the top six.

“It’s fair to say we’re extremely confident at the moment,” Harris told BBC Radio London 94.9. "We know teams fear us, and so they should, at times.

“We know The Den has been a really tough place to come in the last nine months and we want to continue that.”

Sunderland have taken the league by storm under new boss Regis Le Bris and are unbeaten in their last eight games, although the last three of those have all resulted in draws.

After being held to scoreless encounters at both QPR and Preston, the Black Cats then let a two-goal lead slip at home to Coventry in their final game prior to the international break.

A point will take them back to the summit.

Plenty going on in the lunchtime games as Sheffield United climb above Sunderland to go top of the table by a single point.

Burnley have done well, because at half-time Bristol City hadn't really offered much of a threat going forward and then we came out in that second half, had a couple of good chances.

It looked like we could get a second and go on and have a comfortable win, but it turned round. All credit to Bristol City they threw all the subs on they went for it. Yu Hirakawa came on and had a great chance to equalise and James Trafford stood up big.

In the end we had to dig deep and we did just enough to hang on.

Managerless Coventry City twice battle back from a goal down to snatch a point against high flying Sheffield United.

The Blades were down to 10 men for more than half the game, but manage to hold on for a draw that sends them top of the table.

Bobby Thomas is again the target, but this time Sheffield United's Harry Souttar deals with him.

There is less than two minutes remaining at the CBS Arena.

We are into the 95th minute and Coventry have yet another corner.

What can they do?

The fourth official has just indicated that there will be seven minutes of added time.

That is more than enough time for a late winner...

Still no away win for Cardiff since April, but they won't be complaining about that after holding on for a valuable point.

He goes up to meet a cross from the right, but Sheffield United's Alfie Gilchrist gets to the ball just a fraction sooner and the effort balloons over the bar.

Cardiff have been under the pump most of this second half - but they might have ended up with all three points just now.

Deep into added time, Ollie Tanner unleashes a low drive from distance and James Beadle has to dive to keep it out. Would have been massively against the run of play.

Coventry have been without a permanent manager for two weeks now, and they are just a few minutes away from picking up their second huge result against on the competition high flyers in that time.

First they battled back to draw with Sunderland when the Black Cats were top of the table.

As it stands, Sheffield United are top if they can hold on for a point.

I don't want to speak too soon but it seems like we have weathered the storm.

Bristol seem to be a little flat at the moment. They are keeping it by the corner flag, it never normally works does it?
