    Coventry 3-1 Watford

Tell you what, Coventry just have not looked good at the back today, despite all the records they have broken this season.

Luke Woolfenden's tackle breaks for Vivaldo Semedo down the left and his has lots of space to run into on the left of the box before Liam Kitching comes to the rescue, again, to block his low cross behind for a corner.

Watford had four on three in the middle there.

    Steve Ogrizovic

That will give Watford something to take home.

Coventry haven't defended well all game, we don't deserve a clean sheet in this game and rightfully we haven't got one.

Imran Louza keeps his cool and sends Carl Rushworth the wrong way from the spot, finding the bottom right corner and the 10-men are on the scoresheet.

That's four for the season for the man wearing the captain's armband at present.

The absolute least they deserve from this showing.

They couldn't do the unthinkable, could they?

Some unfortunate news to bring you.

Scotland-born Ireland international Rocco Vata is wearing gloves with short sleeves on the warmest late-October day you could imagine in the West Midlands.

    Hayden Matthews OG (69 mins)

We have a breakthrough, and it's very unlucky for Hayden Matthews!

Josh Murphy injects pace into the match and lays it off for Sorba Thomas who whips the ball in from the left side, but it's the Portsmouth defender who put the ball past Josef Bursik.

The 21-year-old has had a very good game so far.

Heartbreak for him, euphoria for the visitors.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:58 BST 25 October

Yang Min-Hyeok and Jordan Williams are the first to leave the pitch this afternoon as Josh Murphy and Terry Devlin are brought on.

    Coventry 3-0 Watford

Kwadwo Baah will play no further part, and Mamadou Doumbia is also off, with Vivaldo Semedo coming on along with Nestory Irankunda.

Two attackers for attackers. No shutting up shop for the 10-man Hornets.

  12. Postpublished at 13:57 BST 25 October

    Ipswich 0-0 West Brom

Ipswich left-back Leif Davis swings in a cross for George Hirst but the frontman's touch sends it fizzing above the net.

The hosts are starting to get a feel in this half.

Can they make it count though? They didn't in the first.

    Ipswich 0-0 West Brom

    Tony 'Bomber' Brown
West Brom's all-time leading goalscorer on BBC Radio WM

It is one of those games that won't go down as a classic.

The game so far has been a bit dogged, and someone needs to try and get on the end of something for West Brom.

  14. Postpublished at 13:55 BST 25 October

    Portsmouth 0-0 Stoke

Stoke finally have a free-kick on the left side of the Portsmouth penalty area but it's taken and cleared with ease by the Pompey defence.

Stoke are forced all the way back to their keeper.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:55 BST 25 October

    Coventry 3-0 Watford

Luke Woolfenden doesn't like it but he's into the book for a clip of heels after Kwadwo Baah goes down in a heap as he blazes into the City half.

The counterattack came from a Coventry corner and was launched by Imran Louza performing a back-heel 10 yards from his own goal in a melee. Brave.

Baah has fallen awkwardly on his shoulder and will need some treatment.

  16. Postpublished at 13:54 BST 25 October

    Ipswich 0-0 West Brom

Jack Taylor spots the space in the box and threads through a lovely ball for Marcelino Nunez to get on the end of.

He does reach it but he doesn't manage to do much with it, missing the target.

Nice little move from Ipswich though.

    Coventry 3-0 Watford

For Coventry it's not so much the winning, rather the absolute ruthlessness in attack. I literally don't see how one can outscore them at the moment. They've got more than triple the goal difference of second-place Middlesborough, It's like Lampard has made Ange-ball successful in the Championship.

  18. 'Cold day for football'published at 13:52 BST 25 October

    Ipswich 0-0 West Brom

    Steve Hermon
    BBC Radio WM commentator

It is a cold day in Suffolk for a game of football and the flags are blowing around in the wind, but there are blue skies above.

It is the first game of the season for gloves.

  19. Postpublished at 13:51 BST 25 October

    Coventry 3-0 Watford

The 'oles' are ringing around the CBS Arena as Coventry pop it around like it's a training match against the under-17s on a Thursday morning.

Brandon Thomas-Asante has heard enough and opts to unleash a 25-yarder which flicks off a defender on its way past Egil Selvik's right post.

Matt Grimes swings in the corner but Luke Woolfenden is crowded out at the near post while Jamie Allen slashes a looping volley just off-target from the edge of the box from the resultant corner.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:50 BST 25 October

    Ipswich 0-0 West Brom

That challenge on Ipswich substitute Chuba Akpom has proven costly.

He heads to tunnel while Marcelino Nunez takes his place.

Ousmane Diakite will not be a popular man around these parts for playing his role in that change.
