Ipswich Town could be missing up to 11 players for the trip to Goodison Park, although Axel Tuanzebe will be assessed.

Ben Johnson and Leif Davis are both suspended.

Match stats

Head-to-head

  • Everton can complete the Premier League double over Ipswich for only the second time, and first since 1995.

  • Ipswich could win three successive matches at Goodison Park for the first time, having earned 3-0 and 2-1 league victories in September 2000 and February 2002 respectively.

Everton

  • Everton have lost three of their past five league games, having only been beaten once in their first 10 top-flight fixtures after David Moyes returned to the club.

  • The Toffees have only won one of their last nine league matches (D5, L3).

  • They could suffer three successive league defeats under Moyes for the first time in 14 years.

  • Only the bottom three clubs have won fewer than Everton's eight games this season.

  • Leicester are the only side to have failed to score in more Premier League fixtures than Everton's 15. It is the Toffees' highest such tally since going goalless in 17 fixtures in 1998-99.

  • This is Moyes' 1,167th game as a manager but his first against Ipswich. They're the first new English club that he's faced since beating Doncaster Rovers 4-0 while in charge of West Ham in January 2021.

  • Everton pair Jesper Lindstrom (28) and Idrissa Gueye (27) have had more shots without scoring than any other players in the Premier League this season.

Ipswich Town

  • Ipswich lost 4-0 against Arsenal and 3-0 to Newcastle in their previous two Premier League matches. They last conceded at least three goals in three consecutive top-flight games in March 1995.

  • The Blues have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their 15 league fixtures this calendar year, conceding 41 goals and claiming just six points.

  • Ipswich have received five red cards in the Premier League this season, the joint most of any team along with Arsenal.

  • They have faced 134 shots when winning in Premier League games this season, while recording just 53 attempts on goal. It's the biggest negative shot difference whilst winning of any team.

  • Only Southampton have dropped more points from winning positions than Ipswich's 27.
