  7. 'We know it's going to be tough'published at 17:26 British Summer Time 10 August

    Dundee v Hearts (17:30)

Hearts head coach Steven Naismith tells BBC Scotland: "The team we've put out is one that can be aggressive, be on the front foot and cause Dundee problems.

"Oyegoke is physically very good, he's an aggressive defender and he's comfortable on the ball. He was unfortunate not to start last weekend, but we went with Gerald Taylor and he was excellent.

"[Yan Dhanda] didn't train the first few days of the week with a bit of tightness and that comes into our thinking. He can still affect the game if required. Of all our signings, he surprised me with the quality he's got. Since he's come in, he's technically fantastic.

"I've said it consistently this week, Dundee were one of the best achievers last season and that's down to Doc (Tony Docherty). We know it's going to be tough."

  8. 'County striker Hale a pest'published at 17:22 British Summer Time 10 August

    Ross County 1-1 Dundee United

    John Robertson
Former Ross County manager on BBC Sportsound

I like Ronan Hale. He's sharp and incisive. Every time he gets the ball, he wants to shoot. He was a pest, basically a younger Simon Murray.

  9. 'I wanted quality over quantity'published at 17:18 British Summer Time 10 August

    Dundee v Hearts (17:30)

Dundee manager Tony Docherty tells BBC Scotland: "It's a revamped squad we've got, but I think we've brought in quality. I wanted quality over quantity and I think we've done that. Yes, there are a few spaces on the bench today but there's still time left in the window.

"Hearts have made a tactical change as well. We've gone from a back three to a back four, and they're in a back three today. Any time we've played we've had really good games."

[On new signing Billy Koumetio]: "He's one we've been chasing for a while. Billy is a strong left-sided defender, he's got real quality, but we just felt he's better starting on the bench today."

  11. Hearts move to three centre-backspublished at 17:08 British Summer Time 10 August

    Dundee v Hearts (17:30)

Hearts head coach Steven Naismith also makes one change to the side that played out a goalless draw against Rangers last weekend.

Yan Dhanda drops to the bench and is replaced by Daniel Oyegoke.

That means a change of shape for the visitors, who go to a back five. Oyegoke, Frankie Kent and Kye Rowles are the three centre-halves, with Gerald Taylor and James Penrice the wing-backs.

Rangers were really good in the first half, so many good individual performances, Vaclav Cerny being the stand-out. Connor Barron was excellent and Cyriel Dessers was a handful.

But it all fizzled out in the second half.

A win's a win at this stage of the season.

  19. FULL-TIME Ross County 1-1 Dundee Utdpublished at 16:57 British Summer Time 10 August

Ronan Hale's 95th-minute equaliser saved a draw for Ross County against newly-promoted Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership.

David Babunski’s second-half goal looked certain to punish a profligate County side, who had missed a first-half penalty when Eamonn Brophy’s spot-kick was saved by Jack Walton.

Babunski's strike also seemingly spared the blushes of United winger Miller Thomson, who missed from two yards out after only 10 seconds of the match.

But County were able to rescue a draw when Hale turned Alex Samuel's cross in deep in injury time for a deserved point.
