Bristol City came from behind to beat Oxford United at Ashton Gate to pick up their first win in four Championship matches.
The U's took the lead through Ruben Rodrigues in the first half and went into the break with the one-goal advantage.
Sinclair Armstrong levelled the scores 12 minutes into the second half and Nahki Wells scored from the penalty spot to wrap up the three points for the Robins.
It means Oxford have now lost all three of their away matches this season after promotion from League One.
However, Des Buckingham's side are still well placed in the second tier, having picked up nine points from nine at the Kassam Stadium.
The Robins, who have been inconsistent under former Oxford boss Liam Manning, started the game well and almost took an early lead when Haydon Roberts crossed for Armstrong, whose header flew narrowly wide.
Supporters rose in the 24th minute to give a round of applause and pay tribute to former Abingdon United footballer and Oxford United fan Jack Badger who died suddenly aged 24 last week.
Shortly after the U’s took the lead as Rodrigues got on the end of a deflected through ball and chipped it past onrushing keeper Max O'Leary.
Oxford’s Mark Harris then came close to doubling the lead moments later but his effort was straight at O’Leary.
Bristol City continued to create opportunities, but just before the break they almost found themselves 2-0 down as Oxford’s Siriki Dembele crashed the ball against the crossbar from 25 yards.
A much-improved City found the equaliser after the break as Armstrong turned Yu Hirakawa's cross in.
The Robins were then awarded a penalty in the 75th minute, Harris fouling Roberts, and the referee pointed to the spot.
Wells then made no mistake, firing the ball into the net to make sure his side bounced back after successive 3-0 losses.
Bristol City boss Liam Manning told BBC Radio Bristol:
"We were frustrated to come in at half-time a goal down, we created some really good chances and played some good stuff.
"First half we had purpose and showed energy so we said at half-time that we should stay calm because it will happen for us which it did.
"Second half we went after it and showed some moments of real high quality, I’m delighted for the lads and the fans."
Oxford United boss Des Buckingham told BBC Radio Oxford:
"Games like today show us adapting to the level, I think we should come away from here with something though.
"Watching back the penalty incident I just don’t think it is a penalty, I’m just disappointed for that to be the winning goal for them.
"We can’t do anything about it now, we just have to dust ourselves off and get ready for another home game at the Kassam."
