    HT: Sutton 0-1 Birmingham

    Darren Carter
Ex-Birmingham midfielder on BBC Radio WM

As dominant as Blues have been, the home crowd will feed off anything.

    Blues need that second goal.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:17 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    Sutton 0-1 Birmingham

Willum Willumsson's goal has the League One leaders ahead.

But there has been enough in the last few minutes to keep National League Sutton very interested at half-time.

  3. goal

GOAL: MK Dons 0-1 AFC Wimbledonpublished at 13:16 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    Matty Stevens (44 mins)

    Media caption,

Stevens slots home into the far corner to give Wimbledon the lead

    Breakthrough!

Both sides had been getting closer after a turgid first half-hour and it's first blood to the Londoners.

A long ball forward is flicked on by Omar Bugiel to send Matty Stevens away to fire into the corner.

  4. Postpublished at 13:15 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    Sutton 0-1 Birmingham

We are into one minute of added time at the end of this half.

Sutton are appealing for a penalty as Jayden Harris gets the wrong side of Ben Davies and goes down.

The home fans are screaming for it, but referee Ben Atkinson is having none of it.

And rightly so, there was barely any contact.

  5. Postpublished at 13:15 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    MK Dons 0-0 AFC Wimbledon

A sliver of space and a shooting opportunity for Alistair Smith, this time, as Wimbledon threaten again.

But Cons stopper Craig MacGillivray makes a comfortable save.

Then back at the other end, Connor Thompson-Sommers somehow gets through a sea of Wimbledon defenders to the edge of the box but James Tilley gets in the block.

    Much better.

  6. Postpublished at 13:12 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    MK Dons 0-0 AFC Wimbledon

Matty Stevens then finds a little space to shoot for AFC Wimbledon, but like Gilbey is too ponderous and Matty Stevens gets in the challenge, deflecting out for a corner.

Home keeper Craig MacGillivray flaps at the corner and the ball goes out for another set-piece.

It comes to nothing as half-time approaches.

  7. 'A huge challenge from Joe Lewis'published at 13:11 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    MK Dons 0-0 AFC Wimbledon

    Toby Lock
MK Citizen's sports editor on BBC Three Counties Radio

That was a huge challenge from Joe Lewis, he tracked him all the way.

Alex Gilbey really should be taking the shot on. I think he just took an extra touch and it allowed the AFC Wimbledon defender to get back and also for the goalkeeper to close the angle.

    Sutton 0-1 Birmingham

Oh, what a chance for Sutton to draw level!

Paik Seung-ho sells Ben Davies short with a pass, Jayden Harris nips in to intercept and he is clean through from halfway.

But his touch takes him a little wide and his right foot curling effort from the edge of the box is a couple of yards wide of the far post.

Sutton may not get many better ones than that all game.

  9. Postpublished at 13:09 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    MK Dons 0-0 AFC Wimbledon

More danger from the hosts as Alex Gilbey beats Joe Lewis and bursts into the penalty area.

But the MK man takes one touch too many, allowing Lewis to recover and make amends with a huge challenge.

  10. 'A really big moment'published at 13:07 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    Sutton 0-1 Birmingham

    Darren Carter
Ex-Birmingham midfielder on BBC Radio WM

Really good from Blues, it was a quick thrown in.

Willum Willumsson did really well and timed his run properly. He did well to get contact on it to get it past Jack Sims.

Blues have been dominant but it's important to make the opposition pay.

    A really big moment.

  11. CLOSE!published at 13:05 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    MK Dons 0-0 AFC Wimbledon

Space opens up for Alex Gilbey on the edge of the box and his shot is tipped wide by Wimbledon keeper Owen Goodman.

    First danger from the hosts.

Wimbledon respond and go up straight up the other end as the game suddenly bursts into life.

Miles Hippolyte again tries his luck, but the ball bounces harmlessly through to home keeper Craig MacGillivray.

  12. goal

GOAL: Sutton 0-1 Birminghampublished at 13:05 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    Willum Willumsson (34 mins)

Breakthrough for Blues and it's the Ice-man!

A whopping 82% of the ball so far for the League One leaders and now it pays dividends.

Paik Seung-ho sends in a deep cross from the left and Willum Willumsson arrives perfectly to meet it about 10 yards out.

The touch is a bit scruffy with his knee but the placement is excellent as he guides it beyond Jack Sims into the bottom corner.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:02 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    MK Dons 0-0 AFC Wimbledon

Scott Hogan is the first MK player to go into the book, looked a little harsh.

Half-an-hour in and neither keeper has had a save to make as yet.

  14. 'Sutton are playing quite high now'published at 13:01 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    Sutton 0-0 Birmingham

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

The line is quite high from Sutton now, they've stepped up a little bit which Blues might be encouraged by.

  15. Postpublished at 12:59 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    Sutton 0-0 Birmingham

Now here is a big chance for Birmingham.

Willum Willumsson gets the ball in space and slips a good pass into Jay Stansfield. He has made a couple of yards for himself in the box, but his finish is really tame and it's a comfortable save for Jack Sims.

You would expect better from Stansfield!

  16. CLOSE!published at 12:58 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    MK Dons 0-0 AFC Wimbledon

We've had to wait 21 minutes but we have our first corner as MK skipper Dean Lewington just stays ahead of Matty Stevens an concedes the set piece.

Summing up the match so far, nothing comes of it as James Ball's header clears the bar.

Wimbledon quickly win another corner as Josh Neufville creates danger down the right flank.

Close! The ball breaks to Miles Hippolyte who gets in a shot, butConnor Thompson-Sommers makes a vital block. Hippolyte is found again from the set-piece but clears the bar this time.

  17. 'Neither side really able to force the issue'published at 12:57 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    MK Dons 0-0 AFC Wimbledon

    Toby Lock
MK Citizen's sports editor on BBC Three Counties Radio

The best opportunity of the game so far has come as a result of MK Dons' own workings.

There's been a half chance for Scott Hogan when he danced inside the penalty area but aside from that neither side really able to force the issue.

MK Dons are so desperate to play neat little triangles but it's getting them into trouble.

  18. Postpublished at 12:57 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    Sutton 0-0 Birmingham

Birmingham are really not your average League One side.

Players from South Korea, Japan, Iceland and Austria in this line-up and Jay Stansfield, a £10 million striker up front.

But their expensively-assembled side are struggling to carve open their non-league hosts.

    Sutton 0-0 Birmingham

Better from the League One leaders. Ethan Laird gets nicely down the right flank and puts over a super cross but nobody in the middle can reach it.

The ball arrives to Paik Seung-ho at the back end of the area running in, he takes a good first touch but blazes his shot over.

No goals for the South Korea midfielder this season and here is the evidence why.

  20. 'Blues are having to be very patient'published at 12:52 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    Sutton 0-0 Birmingham

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

Birmingham have had most of the ball so far but Sutton are demonstrating that they'll be hard to beat.

Blues are having to be very patient here.
