Boston recorded their first away win since the opening day of the season after coming from behind to beat Gateshead 3-1 in the National League.

Substitutes Frankie Maguire and Kieren Donnelly made the difference just a few minutes either side of the interval with the former, brought on in added time at the end of the first half, converting Matty Carson's cross on his first appearance after a knee injury in pre-season.

Donnelly, introduced at half-time, finished off a solo run down the right by firing into the roof of the net from a tight angle for his first goal since joining from Halesowen in the summer.

Good work from Donnelly and Maguire set up Jordy Hiwula to score at the back post in the 74th minute as Gateshead, who had gone ahead through Harry Chapman's 21st-minute rebound from Kyle Hurst's shot, failed to make it three wins in a week.
