Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner on team news: "We have no one back yet, but we do have one more injury: Ebs [Ebere Eze] is unavailable.

"He got a hit against Brighton on his foot. He played with quite a swollen foot at the Emirates and also got the next kick there, so he is not 100%.

"We need the best Eberechi Eze he can be and therefore he has to be fit like all the other players."

It's not often you hear a Premier League manager saying he wants one of his rivals to win a trophy but that was the case when Liverpool boss Arne Slot spoke about Tottenham counterpart Ange Postecoglou earlier today.

Slot, who was heavily linked with Spurs in 2023, expressed his view as, for the good of football, he wants Postecoglou to earn some physical recognition for his attacking tactics at the London club.

And, while Slot will be rooting for Tottenham in the Europa League rather than stopping the Reds winning any silverware, he won't want Spurs taking any points off his side when they meet in the league on Sunday (16:30 GMT).

Liverpool could be usurped at the Premier League summit before they play if Chelsea win at Everton but, although the Reds have had their lead cut following two top-flight draws, Slot was not showing any signs of being troubled by such a scenario.

Instead, he pointed out that the league table should only be used as a guide at the 19 game mark when everyone has played each other.

Slot has highlighted a few times this season how opposing teams have changed their tactics to nullify his team but, with Spurs unlikely to do so, it should make for entertaining viewing on Sunday.

Everton executive chairman Marc Watts also had an informal chat with women’s manager Brian Sorensen and Alan McTavish – CEO of Everton Women.

He addressed all staff in a wider meeting and the club say he talked about the importance of the women's team and The Friedkin Group's previous record with Roma Women.

Their overriding message was to bring stability and support to the club.

Fulham

Fulham boss Marco Silva on their defensive record: "I prefer to not concede. We scored 15 games in a row, maybe the first time that's happened in the Premier League with Fulham. But we want clean sheets.

"It's our identity. We go into every game to win the football match. Our goal for each match is to not concede. We want our fans to enjoy it, the best way to do it is to play in a way that they would want to see.

"I'm really confident and ambitious in what we want to do. We have been proving this on a matchday. I still think there is room to improve. Let's keep working hard so we can perform at our best level."

Fulham

Fulham boss Marco Silva confirmed that right-back Kenny Tete will be out "for at least eight to 10 weeks" after picking up "a big knock" against Liverpool.

Silva said: "Some not good news about Kenny Tete. The impact to his shin was clear for anyone watching the game. A big knock and it has impacted his knee.

"It doesn’t need surgery but he is going to be out for at least 8-10 weeks. It might take him longer than that to get back to helping us at the level he has been every week.

"We have Timothy Castagne to replace him. He was impressive last season. When he took Tete's place, Kenny couldn't win it back. This season it has been the other way round as Timothy arrived a little late to pre-season."

Elsewhere, centre-back Joachim Andersen is back and Calvin Bassey and Tom Cairney are back after their respective bans.

Andreas Pereira is unavailable after receiving his fifth yellow card.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery on team news: "Tyrone Mings and Leon Bailey, they are in the squad tomorrow. Not Jacob Ramsey because he is progressing well but not ready yet to be available for tomorrow."

West Ham United

West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui on team news: "It is going to be very similar [the squad] but maybe we can have one change."

He did not say who the player was.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery on Youri Tielemans' potential 200th Premier League appearance: "Youri is a very good professional. Getting it through his human ability as well and every day his commitment with us.

"As a player we are watching how he is responding with us."

Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna on injuries: "Nothing new from last weekend."

On Liam Delap who will miss Saturday's game after getting booked at the weekend: "The referee told me that if there's a fracas on the pitch at the end then the rule is that he has to book a player from both teams. I take him at his word on that. We're disappointed, because I don't think Liam did much wrong."

Aston Villa

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery on the upcoming match against Manchester City: "Of course, it's a very tough match and a very exciting match for us. The motivation, playing Manchester City at home for our supporters as well is going to be great.

"Everything we are going to face tomorrow with our support at Villa Park. My assessment now is keep going. We are in the league trying to get better and of course accepting everything we are doing, always trying to improve.

"Tomorrow is a very good test and another competition, Champions League is coming, FA Cup, the assessment now for me is only thinking about this match."

Southampton

Southampton interim boss Simon Rusk on his spell in charge with the club close to appointing Ivan Juric as their new manager:

"After the decision to go a different way, I viewed the quick turnaround to the Liverpool as a good thing as it was a quick chance to focus the players.

"There was a challenge physically and emotionally but it becomes an opportunity to move on quickly.

"As I've said, it's been an honour [to be in charge]. [But] this isn't about me. This is about the football club at the minute and how we win a game of football."

Southampton interim boss Simon Rusk on team news:

"We're hopeful that we'll have one or two players available who weren't on Wednesday.

"Kyle [Walker-Peters] trained today. Aaron [Ramsdale] has been back involved. He's definitely not far away.

"It's looking positive."

Everton boss Sean Dyche on director of football Kevin Thelwell, who is also out of contract in the summer: "I think he's a good operator. I get on well with him.

"We have both been realistic with the challenges and sometimes you take some stick for that. But, the truth is the truth.

"I think we have stayed steadfast to the challenges in front of us whether financially or trying to get the players in to try and make us a unit.

"Recruitment is a massive challenge, very difficult thing to get right. We have had to get it right more than not since I've been here and he's played his part in that without a doubt."

Everton

Everton boss Sean Dyche confirmed James Garner and Tim Iroegbunam are "still a bit behind the curve" and "are making progress but not quick progress" as they build their fitness.

On Dwight McNeil's fitness: "Dwight is touch and go, he still has a niggly knee. We are hopeful but we will have to wait and see."

Everton boss Sean Dyche on Dele Alli, who confirmed his departure from the club earlier today:

"The major point that we agreed as a collective was to get him back to a good place and I think he is there.

"He's had so much misfortune with injuries, you could not imagine the challenges he has had. We wish him well and that is all we can do.

"He has been nothing but an ease for me to work with. Onto a new challenge but we certainly wish him well."
