    England international Dele Alli has said he is "turning a new page" as he officially confirms he is leaving Everton. Reports suggest he will be joining Italian club Como in January.

    In a statement published on social media Alli said: "As widely published, 2025 may set me on a new path with some exciting opportunities. Before any of that happens it's very important for me to make clear how grateful I am of all the fans, staff and players at Everton for the support they have given me.

    "It has been an incredibly tough journey trying to put the pieces together to regain match fitness and I cannot thank the Everton staff enough for the hard work they have put into the process.

    Vitor Pereira faces the media for the first time shortly (13:30 GMT) after his appointment as Wolves boss.

    The former Porto manager, who joined from Saudi Pro League side Al-Shabab on Thursday, takes over with Wolves five points from safety in the Premier League.

    He will be desperate to have Matheus Cunha available for Sunday's trip to Leicester with the forward charged by the Football Association with misconduct for his clash with Liam Delap and Ipswich's security following the 2-1 defeat by the Tractor Boys on Saturday.

    Pereira has taken training for the past two days and has been hands on during the sessions ahead of Wolves' crucial trip to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester.
