Romelu Lukaku cuts on to his left but his tame shot is easily kept out by a diving Anatoliy Trubin.

Stephen Warnock is absolutely spot on by the way. This match is nowhere near as exciting as Slovakia against Romania.

  2. CLOSE!published at 18:25 British Summer Time 26 June

    Slovakia 1-1 Romania

Slovakia are areally pushing for the win!

Lukas Haraslin is the latest to shoot for goal, cutting in right footed on the left and curling just past the far post.

The way Belgium are playing... Am I ok to say I am bored? It is so, so slow and ponderous the way they do things at the moment.

So, as things stand Belgium are going through and Ukraine are missing out.

A draw is all Belgium need regardless of results elsewhere. Ukraine need to hope Group E's other game doesn't finish level if they draw in Stuttgart.

  5. How things stand in Group Epublished at 18:24 British Summer Time 26 June

Just under 25 minutes are left in both games, so here's how things stand:

Romania are set to top the group, with Belgium going through in second.

That would mean Belgium have a tough last-16 game against France.

Slovakia will qualify as one of the best third-placed sides and join the Netherlands in being possible England opponents in the last-16.

Ukraine are on course to miss out on reaching the knockouts.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 18:24 British Summer Time 26 June

    Slovakia 1-1 Romania

A huge stop from Florin Nita!

Slovakia striker David Strelec cuts in and sends a powerful low drive with his left foot. Nita was wrong footed, but sticks his left foot back the way he came to divert the ball away.

It's a lovely little bit of play. As Dragus turns around he realises there is a little bit of space and as it hits the back stanchion I am thinking it has hit the back of the net.

My goodness, the storm has arrived in Frankfurt.

An enormous crack of thunder rang around the stadium just before, and now extremely heavy rain is falling.

The noise in the stands has not been dampened. If anything, it has got louder.

Doku is exciting to watch for Belgium, same as for Man City. He terrifies defenders who don’t know where he is going. Trouble is, neither does he, nor his teammates. If he can develop a bit of game skill and nous along with his ferocious skills he could be great.

Belgium makes some changes. Youri Tielemans and Leandro Trossard come off.

Orel Mangala and Yannick Carrasco come on.

  11. CLOSE!published at 18:21 British Summer Time 26 June

    Slovakia 1-1 Romania

Maybe Romania don't just want a draw after all?

Razvan Marin has a drive plamed away by Martin Dubravka, then Denis Dragus fires narrowly over the bar, the ball hitting the stanchion and fooling a few fans it had gone in.

The noise has dipped. There's still a drum coming from the Belgium end and some chanting but it's not as enthusiastic as before. The Ukraine supporters are whistling as their side chase possession.

Arsenal's Oleksandr Zinchenko now comes on to the pitch. Ukraine are back up to XI players.

    Slovakia 1-1 Romania

Florinel Coman took a long, long time to walk off the pitch as he was subbed. No Slovakian players were giving him the hurry up either.

A sign both sides will now settle for a point?

  15. 'Mykolenko doing what is best for the team in coming off'published at 18:18 British Summer Time 26 June

    Ukraine 0-0 Belgium

    Stephen Warnock
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Such a shame for Vitaly Mykolenko to have to come off because he has had a good game. It was in the clearance for the latest Belgium corner that he clashes with Youri Tielemans and immediately knew something was wrong. He's doing what is best for the good of the team and coming off instead of trying to continue.

Things aren't looking good for Vitaliy Mykolenko. The Ukraine left-back lands awkwardly on his ankle - an injury which had kept him out of the first two games of this tournament.

    He signals to the bench.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 18:17 British Summer Time 26 June

    Slovakia 1-1 Romania

The first sub of this game is Romanian.

Deian Sorescu replaces Florinel Coman in a swap on the left wing.

  20. 'Which manager is going to roll the first dice?'published at 18:16 British Summer Time 26 June

    Ukraine 0-0 Belgium

    Stephen Warnock
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

I'm just wondering which manager is going to roll the first dice and try to impact this game. Or are Ukraine just very happy now to stay within the game for a further 10-15 minutes before considering any changes?
