There's thunder, lightning and plenty of rain here in Stuttgart - a climate change from where I've just travelled from over in Munich.

These pictures were taking two hours before kick-off and there were barely any fans in sight.

It's not because they are not here, it's because they have seeked shelter in nearby pubs or in the stadium concourse.

As they walked to the stadium along the main road and flooded off trams, an announcement was made over speakers attached to lamp posts and road signs.

"Please move faster, we are expecting very bad weather in a few minutes. Please pass this message to those behind you."

It started chucking it down shortly afterwards. Poor volunteers are having to stand out in it and direct fans. At least they have waterproofs!

  4. Who needs what?published at 16:00 British Summer Time 26 June

A win for any team on Wednesday would earn them a place in the last 16.

Romania will top the group if they win and Belgium do not, while the Belgians will come first with victory and if Slovakia don't triumph.

Slovakia win the group by winning their game and Ukraine failing to pick up three points in their match. The Ukrainians leap into first by beating Belgium, as long as the Romanians don't taste victory today.

A point will be enough for Belgium, Romania and Slovakia to progress - with the latter two playing each other.

If both games are drawn Ukraine would be out despite having four points as they would finish bottom on goal difference.

    Clear? Good.

  5. Hello!published at 15:58 British Summer Time 26 June

Four teams. Three points. Two games. One objective - to reach the Euro 2024 knock-out stages.

Group E, the tightest pool at Euro 2024, comes to an end today with everything to play for.

Belgium face Ukraine and Slovakia take on Romania, with all four teams still in contention to qualify for the last 16 - and all four still in danger of elimination. And we'll bring you every kick right here.

    This should be good.
