    Slovakia 1-1 Romania

A reminder that Romania have not reached the European Championship knock-outs since 2000.

Slovakia got to the last 16 in 2016, after finishing third in their group behind Wales and England.

Both sides are currently progressing to the round of 16.

    Ukraine 0-0 Belgium

Belgium's corner is chipped to Youri Tielemans on the edge of the box who has a pop but sees his effort deflect behind.

English referee Anthony Taylor doesn't spot the ball clipping a defender though and gives a goal kick. The Belgium players are starting to get a little frustrated.

  6. 'There's going to be many more twists and turns'published at 18:12 British Summer Time 26 June

    Slovakia 1-1 Romania

    Clinton Morrison
Former Republic of Ireland striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

This is a good game, I know we had two goals in the first half but this second half has started much better. There's going to be many more twists and turns that's for sure.

  7. Postpublished at 18:11 British Summer Time 26 June

    Slovakia 1-1 Romania

Slovakian winger Lukas Haraslin has been a livewire all day, and now cuts inside the Romanian defence and down the touchline.

However his shot from a tight angle is straight at Florin Nita. Haraslin perhaps should have looked to square that.

Nice stepover from Jeremy Doku who sprints forward down the left, although his low cross for Romelu Lukaku is easily intercepted.

    Belgium corner.

  9. 'A bit like freestyle dancing'published at 18:10 British Summer Time 26 June

    Ukraine 0-0 Belgium

    Martin Keown
Former England defender on BBC One

The decision-making is not great from both teams, it seems so off the cuff. A bit like freestyle dancing where you don’t know what's going to happen.

  10. 'Missing end product'published at 18:10 British Summer Time 26 June

    Ukraine 0-0 Belgium

    Stephen Warnock
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

There's been a little bit more energy and zip into the attacking play of both sides at the start of this second half. We are still just missing that end product, the bit of quality to create a top chance or finish.

  11. Postpublished at 18:10 British Summer Time 26 June

    Ukraine 0-0 Belgium

Belgium are knocking the ball around the edge of the Ukraine box; nobody wants to shoot though.

Odd. This game still hasn't properly got going.

  12. Postpublished at 18:09 British Summer Time 26 June

    Slovakia 1-1 Romania

Oooh, a sliced clearance from a Romanian defender and keeper Florin Nita has to come and punch.

Nita is very unhappy with his defence and is making his feelings clear.

    Slovakia 1-1 Romania

    Dion Dublin
Former England striker on BBC Two

I don't think I wouldn't change anything for either team at this present time. It is far too early.

There will have to be tweaks at 65 or 70 minutes when you decide whether you want to go for it or not.

    Slovakia 1-1 Romania

An enormous flash of lightning now in Frankfurt. We could be in for a huge storm.

What might that do to this already fragile pitch?

  15. 'We need a moment of magic'published at 18:08 British Summer Time 26 June

    Ukraine 0-0 Belgium

    Stephen Warnock
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

We need something special in this second half, a moment of magic from someone. It has been a little bit flat from both teams so far.

  16. Postpublished at 18:08 British Summer Time 26 June

    Ukraine 0-0 Belgium

Belgium start the second half with some decent possession. Kevin de Bruyne pirouettes beautifully to get around two defenders, but he has no runners ahead of him and his final pass forward is intercepted.

  17. Postpublished at 18:05 British Summer Time 26 June

    Slovakia 1-1 Romania

During half time, the blue skies we had have disappeared for thick cloud cover.

As we kicked off the second half, the rain started and we could be in for a thunderstorm.

Will this prove to be pathetic fallacy for one of these teams?

  18. 'De Bruyne dictates the game'published at 18:05 British Summer Time 26 June

Kevin de Bruyne's a player who can find the final pass and create chances for you.

He has drifted into different positions, but he also dictates the game.

  19. KICK-OFFpublished at 18:05 British Summer Time 26 June

A massive 45 minutes coming up. We're back under way in both our Group E matches.

  20. 'Ukraine trying to get to 80 mins then they'll go at Belgium'published at 18:04 British Summer Time 26 June

    HT: Ukraine 0-0 Belgium

    Stephen Warnock
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Ukraine have been very organised and compact and have not wanted to open themselves up too much as to not let themselves be exposed at the back against the talent of the Belgium forward line. Belgium have struggled to break them down, Romelu Lukaku unable to test the keeper from his shot early in the half. Overall neither side has really kicked into gear.

It feels like Ukraine are trying to get to 70-80 minutes in at 0-0 and then they will bring on the substitutes and really go at Belgium. If they went at them from the off and went behind then it would have been difficult to find a way back into the game. It is much easier to do it this way, get a lead with the fresh energy off the bench and protect the lead late on.
