Speaking at his news conference earlier, Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola said that the Cherries have no fresh injury concerns.

Luis Sinisterra remains unavailable while striker Evanilson's red card against Manchester United last week was overturned on appeal.

"Obviously you prefer to have Evanilson, not just for this game but the next two," said Iraola.

"But also there is the part where what I thought is now confirmed. It's a strange feeling, now we have to focus on the game tomorrow knowing he's available, which is better, but it doesn't change the decision of the referee.

"I haven't asked for any explanation, and no-one has called me to explain how the process has gone," he added.

"Obviously, something hasn't worked well. The VAR referees are becoming more important than the actual referees, and I think that is very dangerous."

  3. 'Not a surprise that English teams go all the way into Europe'published at 13:16 British Summer Time 2 May

Chelsea v Liverpool (Sun, 16:30 BST)

    Liverpool

And finally from Arne Slot, he was asked about the strength of Premier League clubs, in the context of bottom-half clubs Manchester United and Tottenham looking set to meet in the Europa League final:

"The number 14 and 16 in the Premier League have so much more funds than the number one in Holland, for example, so it’s not a complete surprise that teams – and we have many of them in the Premier League - have so much more funds than everywhere around the world except for the Paris St-Germain, Barcelona, Real Madrid and a few others.

"It is not a surprise that English teams go all the way into Europe, especially in the Europa League and Conference League because they are in a different league when it comes to money compared to other teams. The Champions League is more balanced so it’s a big achievement from Arsenal that they are still in the semi-final.

"It tells you how much money there is in this league and how strong this league is but we all knew this. We didn’t need this season to know that the Premier League is by far the most competitive league in the world.

"There are not many leagues in the world where the numbers 15, 16, 17 – because of coincidence it’s Manchester United and Tottenham who are normally not there – but even the teams that are normally there have players that can play for the numbers one, two and three and you don’t see this in any other league."

  4. Elliott now 'back to his old level again'published at 13:11 British Summer Time 2 May

Chelsea v Liverpool (Sun, 16:30 BST)

    Liverpool

Discussing the future of midfielder Harvey Elliott, Arne Slot said: "I think, first of all, it's very important that players who are here with us like to stay, that's a big compliment to everyone working here.

"Harvey is one of the players that hasn't had as much playing time as he maybe deserved, but like some others, he's in competition with so many good players, partly because he was injured for a long time.

"I've been honest with him. The first part after he came back, he wasn't the same as he was before his injury, but the last few months he's back to his old level again."

On whether players like Elliott and Federico Chiesa have something to prove, Slot added: "I don't think they have anything to prove to me because I see them every single day in the training ground and I've seen them playing for us in the past or this season - not Federico in the past but he has had a great career at other clubs as well.

"I don't think these players have to prove the quality players they are, but I think they want to prove for themselves that they are good enough to play for us, and I already know that they are and, probably, they themselves know this as well. I don't think they have a point to prove but I do think they would like to play."

  5. 'New players can see how special the fans are'published at 13:08 British Summer Time 2 May

Chelsea v Liverpool (Sun, 16:30 BST)

    Liverpool

Here's more from Liverpool boss Arne Slot, talking about being able to enjoy the rest of the season after winning the league with four games to spare:

"There are so many things that have influence on next season. Is it an advantage that some teams go to the Club World Cup?

"I think the main advantage of winning the league is that, until now, if I spoke to new players that we wanted to bring in, I always told them that our fans are really special, that it's special to play at this club.

"I think that was maybe not even necessary to tell them in the past but, after Sunday, I don't think I ever have to tell anyone again how special our fans are because that was unbelievable."

  8. Klopp tells Slot 'now you are part of history as well'published at 12:57 British Summer Time 2 May

Chelsea v Liverpool (Sun, 16:30 BST)

    Liverpool

Liverpool manager Arne Slot was also asked about the famous names who have congratulated him after his side clinched the title - including former Reds boss Jurgen Klopp:

"I assume that's Jurgen [Klopp]. What did he have to say? Yeah, what most of them said, 'congratulations, now you know how special of a club it is, now you are part of history as well', these kind of things.

"He was really happy for me, for the players, for the staff, for the fans, like we all know Jurgen.

"Maybe I forgot a few but I think he was the most famous."

  9. No update on Alexander-Arnold situationpublished at 12:53 British Summer Time 2 May

Chelsea v Liverpool (Sun, 16:30 BST)

    Liverpool

There was no update on Trent Alexander-Arnold's situation from Arne Slot as the end of the season draws ever closer.

On whether the full-back will sign a new contract when his current deal expires this summer, Slot said:

"There's four weeks to go. If there's any news on that, I wouldn't say you were the first one to know, but the people in front of me will probably hear it all together.

"As long as there's no news from us, this is not a place to talk about his situation."

  10. Slot expects Bradley to be availablepublished at 12:51 British Summer Time 2 May

Chelsea v Liverpool (Sun, 16:30 BST)

    Liverpool

First, to the matter of team news, a Liverpool boss Arne Slot has offerred an update on the fitness of full-back Conor Bradley:

"He will train with us today and let's see how he does. We expect him to be available.

"I don't know if that means he is available to start but, if all goes well today and tomorrow, he will probably be in the squad."

It was party time at Liverpool after they secured this season's league title with a win against Tottenham at Anfield last Sunday.

The players and staff revelled in equalling the title tally or arch rivals Manchester United, on 20, before putting the celebrations on hold to return to training and prepare for a return to action at Chelsea on Sunday.

What will Liverpool boss Arne Slot want to get out from his side's final four games of the season? Will some of the fringe players, Federico Chiesa in particular, get more of a run out to prove their worth?

Chiesa was Liverpool's only signing for this season but has hardly been used by Slot and it would be interesting to see what he can do if given more game time.

Also, more focus will now shift to the future of right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is out of contract in the summer.

  12. Postpublished at 12:45 British Summer Time 2 May

Chelsea v Liverpool (Sun, 16:30 BST)

    Liverpool

Liverpool boss Arne Slot spoke to the media a little earlier today, at the end of a week in which he, his players and staff, and Liverpool fans celebrated confirmation of their Premier League title.

They will begin their four-game end-of-season victory lap at Chelsea on Sunday, before concluding the campaign with games against Arsenal, Brighton and Crystal Palace.

  13. Forest lose ground on Champions League spotpublished at 12:43 British Summer Time 2 May

    Nottm Forest 0-2 Brentford

Newcastle could have dropped down to fourth in the table had Nottingham Forest not crashed to defeat at home to Brentford on Thursday night.

Forest had a game in hand after playing in the FA Cup semi-finals last weekend, but remain out of the top five, in sixth place.

Nuno Espirito Santos side had been third in the Premier League for much of the season but have dropped out of the Champions League positions following a run of three defeats in their last five league games.

They have four games left this season - against Crystal Palace on Monday, Leicester City, West Ham and Chelsea, who are also fighting for a Champions League spot.

    Newcastle United

A final word from Newcastle manager Eddie Howe on Sven Botman after the defender returned from injury as a substitute in last week's win over Ipswich:

"He did [come through OK], and he trained again this week. He looks good so it's a big positive to get Sven back."

  15. Magpies still have a lot of faith in Willock - Howepublished at 12:34 British Summer Time 2 May

Brighton v Newcastle (Sun, 14:00 BST)

    Newcastle United

Joe Willock replaced Joelinton in the Newcastle midfield for last Saturday's win over Ipswich.

It was the 25-year-old's 10th Premier League start of the season, with Joelinton, Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes having been preferred for most of the season.

"We still have a lot of faith in Joe, and he's a like-for-like replacement really," said manager Eddie Howe. "He does a lot of his best work on the best work on the left of the pitch, as Joelinton does.

"He's got goalscoring instincts, he's a very attack-minded player, very quick and athletic, and he's a really good ball carrier.

"Let's not forget, he's had some important contributions this season, but yes, he probably needs that run of games to be at his very best."

  18. Joelinton unlikely to play again this season - Howepublished at 12:24 British Summer Time 2 May

Brighton v Newcastle (Sun, 14:00 BST)

    Newcastle United

Newcastle are well placed for a Champions League spot in third - although only with a two-point cushion over sixth-placed Nottingham Forest - as they prepare for Sunday's game at ninth-placed Brighton.

However, Newcastle boss Eddie Howe is facing up to the prospect of tackling the run-in without experienced Brazil midfielder Joelinton, who he says is unlikely to play again this season because of a knee injury.

The 28-year-old missed last week's 3-0 win over Ipswich and has since consulted a specialist.

"With Joe you never rule him out," Howe said. "He's so motivated to try to come back.

"We sought specialist opinion, and the opinion was it was nothing serious but he needed a period of rest so he's now in Brazil.

"We'll wait and see if we can get him back before the end of the season but the likelihood is probably not."

Lewis Miley, Sean Longstaff and Joe Willock are among the players in contention to replace Joelinton.

  20. What's at stake for Premier clubs?published at 12:10 British Summer Time 2 May

    Karan Vinod
    BBC Sport Journalist

Liverpool have wrapped up the Premier League title with four games to spare, while the relegation battle has been decided, with Ipswich, Leicester City and Southampton going down.

But the competition remains intense for league placings, with qualification for European places at stake:

    Champions League

The top five teams will qualify for the Champions League. Right now, they are Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle United, Manchester City and Chelsea. However, only five points separate teams from third (Newcastle) to seventh (Aston Villa).

    Europa League

This is where things get complicated. Usually the sixth-placed team (currently Nottingham Forest) qualifies for the Europa League along with the winners of the FA Cup. However, if Manchester City win the FA Cup and finish in the top five then the second Europa League spot will go to the team that finishes seventh.

    Conference League

The winner of the Carabao Cup qualifies for the Conference League. However, with Newcastle occupying a Champions League spot at the moment, their place will be handed to the eighth-placed team (currently Fulham) instead.

There are so many scenarios and permutations. Read this article to find out more.
