  12. Postpublished at 20:02 BST 8 August

    Newcastle 1-1 Espanyol

Here come Espanyol with pace down the right wing. The ball lands at the feet of Roberto Fernandez and he lays it back for goalscorer Edu Exposito but he blazes it well over.

Not quite like the strike for his goal.

Get Involved - should Chelsea sign Garnacho?published at 20:02 BST 8 August

Gcny: Garnacho is a very talented young player. He would be a good addition to an already talented young squad but only at the right price. The Blues are not in desperate need of another winger, the Reds are likely more anxious to get rid of the bomb squad during this window, so a fair valuation will be agreed.

    Back under way.

  15. Postpublished at 20:00 BST 8 August

    HT: Chelsea 1-0 Bayer Leverkusen

Unsurprisingly, it looks like there's going to be a load of changes at the start of the second half. Estevao Willian has handed his shirt to a young fan in the crowd. That could be worth a fortune in a few years time.

    Newcastle 1-1 Espanyol

Given it's still pre-season, Bruno Guimaraes fancies a go from about 40 yards out.

    It's high and wide.

Michael Oliver awards a free-kick against William Osula - much to the annoyance of his fellow Newcastle supporters.

  18. Postpublished at 19:56 BST 8 August

    HT: Chelsea 1-0 Bayer Leverkusen

Former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is raving about Estevao Willian on Channel 5.

He's also asked about Jarell Quansah's X-rated challenge on Cole Palmer.

"If this was a real game in the Premier League, he'd 100 million per cent be sent off," adds Hasselbaink about Quansah.

  19. Postpublished at 19:56 BST 8 August

    Newcastle 1-1 Espanyol

    Park Seung-soo looks lively!

He uses his pace down the left wing before cutting back with a Cruyff turn and standing up a ball to the back post but Espanyol clear.

Matt Targett was, of course, the subject of social media rumours that he'd been left behind in Asia as the squad flew home.

Nice to see he made it back in time to score.
