Group B2 men's Nations League table, with England top on 12 points above Greece (12), Republic of Ireland (6) and Finland (0)

Here is a look at how Group B2 stands, with England top on head-to-head record following Thursday's 3-0 win in Greece.

Just one round of fixtures remain:

    Sunday, 17 November

    • England v Republic of Ireland
    • Finland v Greece
  3. What do England need to do to qualify?published at 10:39 Greenwich Mean Time

Just looking ahead to Sunday, England will want to be selecting their strongest XI.

That's because victory over Republic of Ireland at Wembley would see England promoted back to the top tier of the Nations League as group winners.

Placings of teams that finish equal on points are decided on head-to-head results and then head-to-head goal difference.

England lost 2-1 at home to Greece before winning 3-0 on Thursday in the reverse fixture.

Should the Three Lions drop points in their final fixture, Greece would finish top if they better England's result in their final game in Finland on Sunday.

Group runners-up can still win promotion via a play-off in March against a team that finishes third in Group A.

Has anyone asked the question - why do we always look like a better team when Harry Kane ISN'T on the pitch?

    Joe, South Australia.

I can't be the only one who is really excited to see England picking a load of younger players from non-'big six' teams. So refreshing.

Also, is that Ricardo Carvalho at 10:22?

  6. Carsley has 'real confidence' in playerspublished at 10:28 Greenwich Mean Time

England interim boss Lee Carsley on his faith in younger players:

"I definitely have faith in younger players but I have faith in the older players too.

"You may have thought it was a risk but I have real confidence in them. I have seen evidence of it and now they have backed it up in an England shirt.

"We tried something at Wembley and it didn't come off. We tried again tonight with players that didn't have a lot of experience.

"Now that they have come to a place like Greece and won will stand us in good stead for the future."

  9. Bellingham shows leadership in performancepublished at 10:18 Greenwich Mean Time

A lot was made before the match with Greece about the players who didn't turn up.

Unusually, that meant that Jude Bellingham went under the radar.

His performance on the pitch last night definitely did not. He was back to his best and his energy and quality was key to England winning the match.

He is only 21-years-old himself but has already made 39 appearances and was one of the most players the younger members of the squad and the players making their debut could look to for guidance.

Bellingham had been going through a rare tough period at Real Madrid but his performance and the fact he did join up for this international break should be praised.

It would be great if we could get all the players with the surname Jones and have a kick about. Maybe make a programme about it. We could call it “Keepie Up With The Joneses”

The Jones of the moment, Curtis Jones, also spoke about his own performance on what was an accomplished senior debut.

"I was playing free, I had a smile on my face and enjoying it and I am happy I came out with a goal as well," Jones told ITV Sport.

"If you have got a team like ours, I can go higher, I can come low, I can get on the ball, I can play. There's lads there to help.

"There are also lads who said I can go as well. Jude stayed back and said I can go, so that's what I did, and lucky enough I scored."

Just joining us? We're reacting to last night's win for England in Greece.

What does it mean for the Three Lions' Nations League campaign?

    Who was your standout player?

What did you make of England's performance?

And should Harry Kane be starting against the Republic of Ireland on Sunday?

Plus, with Curtis Jones becoming the ninth Jones to play for England, we're after two more suggestions to fill our fantasy England Jones XI.

  16. 'All the young players played with a lot of quality'published at 09:52 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Greece 0-3 England

    England

England interim boss Lee Carsley on whether he had any extra satisfaction as his calls came off:

"None at all. I see the quality that the players have got. You’re now seeing that the players have the capability and mentality to play.

"All the young players played with a lot of quality tonight. The age of these players - there are a lot of positives.

"I thought Curtis [Jones] was outstanding tonight. I thought Jude [Bellingham] was really good. Him, Conor [Gallagher] and Curtis had a really good combination tonight."

After putting in a mature, eye-catching performance as England's creator-in-chief against Greece, Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham also played the elder-statesman when speaking with ITV Sport in his post-match interview, external.

Standing alongside Curtis Jones, another one of the Three Lions' star performers, Bellingham summed up the team's performance and win, which moved them top of Group B2 in the Nations League with one match remaining:

"A good win, an important win," he said. "A lot was made of the lads that weren't here but I think that the lads that were here, who showed up, were amazing.

"Curt [Curtis Jones] making his debut, scoring, playing as he did. Amazing - I'm really proud of the boys tonight.

"There would have been a million and one excuses if we didn't play well or didn't get over the line, but the lads went out and did the business so professionally. Back to the top of the group - where we belong."

    England

England interim boss Lee Carsley on Jude Bellingham leading:

"I think Jude - along with the majority of the team - they have a different type of experience. If you look at the team tonight there's a lot of Champions League experience and that definitely helps on a night like tonight.

"They've done it for their clubs and now they have done it for England.

"I have spoken about the mentality they have got. They don't see themselves as a gamble. He leads but he doesn't just lead like that in games, he leads like that in training and his preparation."
