    Bolton 0-1 Wigan

    Jack Dearden
    BBC Radio Manchester commentator

This will be up there with the best half Wigan have played all season.

The Latics have been far better than Bolton, and Ian Evatt's gloomy body language tells the story perfectly.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:09 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December

    Bolton 0-1 Wigan

    That's number five!

A reaction from Bolton skipper George Thomason gets him in the book.

    Leyton Orient 0-0 Burton

Burton's Udoka Godwin-Malife sends in a crisp pass up to Rumarn Burrell, who crosses into the box.

    Bolton 0-1 Wigan

The Bolton goalkeeper Nathan Baxter is down injured.

He has spent time out this season so for those cynics thinking it might be tactical, cool your jets for now.

He's back up and on we go.

  6. 'Keep playing like this, Bolton!'published at 13:04 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December

    Bolton 0-1 Wigan

    Nathan Ellington
Ex-Wigan striker on BBC Radio Manchester

Bolton aren't playing too well at the moment...

Wigan are taking advantage of every mistake, and Bolton's strikers don't seem to be tracking back. I'm more than happy for them to carry on playing the way they are!

  7. Postpublished at 13:04 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December

    Bolton 0-1 Wigan

Another Wigan break with the dangerous Silko Thomas whipping in a cross which Bolton, at full stretch, turn behind for a corner which they clear.

  8. Postpublished at 13:02 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December

    Leyton Orient 0-0 Burton

There have been some poor performances from Burton Albion this season but this is not shaping up to be one of them.

Leyton Orient are piling on the attacks but can only get as far as a visitor before it's stopped in its tracks.

Burton, however, aren't having as much of an affect in attack as they are in defence.

Proven when keeper Max Crocombe sends a long ball into the opposite half and it's like a game of ping ball before it's sent back to the defenders to try and build a fresh attack.

Notts County go in search of an equaliser as Alassana Jatta plays in David McGoldrick but Luke Garbutt is there with the challenge to deny him.

Wigan have controlled this game and they deservedly lead through Dale Taylor's third goal of the season.

Every time the visitors break forward they look menacing - Bolton have to find a way to get a foothold.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:57 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December

That's four for the game now and two apiece.

  12. 'Bolton are all over the place'published at 12:56 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December

    Bolton 0-1 Wigan

    Gary Bowyer
Former Salford manager on BBC Radio Manchester

It might not look like it but Bolton do have a plan...they just can't execute it because of Wigan's intensity.

The atmosphere isn't helping them either. You can sense the nerves and frustration, and Bolton are all over the place. Ian Evatt needs his players to step up.

    Kristian Dennis (25 mins)

    Tranmere goalImage source, Rex Features

    Tranmere get the leveller.

    Game on.

    Conor McAleny (14 mins)

It's a great start for Salford but what are Notts County doing here?

They get caught trying to play the ball out from the back as Ossama Ashley does brilliantly to beat Dan Crowley to Notts County keeper Alex Bass to intercept a poor pass and it falls to Conor McAleny tap into an empty net.
