    The big topic of the week, other than Matt O'Riley's possible Celtic exit to Brighton, has been the report for the Scottish FA suggesting the country is "significantly underachieving its potential" in youth development compared to countries of a similar size.

    The SFA's Andy Gould will be on Sportsound shortly to give more of an insight.

    Meanwhile, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers on Friday suggesting that adding more teams to the Premiership would take pressure off managers and allow them to blood more young players.

    Jim Goodwin names an unchanged XI from the 1-0 win over St Mirren in the Premier Sports Cup last weekend.

    Croat defender Vicko Sevelj missed that game through suspension and remains out having failed to recover from a tight hamstring.

    Liverpool midfield loanee Luca Stephenson makes his league debut, while Kevin Holt - usually a centre-back - is expected to continue in a midfield role.

    Don Cowie switches three in the County side following their shock League Cup defeat by fourth-tier Spartans last Saturday.

    Defenders Akil Wright and Michee Efete are back in the XI, replacing Ryan Leak and James Brown.

    The final change is in attacking midfield, with Noah Chilvers dropping out for Jack Grieves.

    New signing Joshua Nisbet, the midfielder previously with Central Coast Mariners, is on the bench.

    Hibs give a debut to on-loan Celtic midfielder Kwon Hyeok-kyu as one of three changes from last week's League Cup defeat.

    Winger Nicky Cadden also makes his first start and midfielder Rudi Molotnikov comes back into the XI.

    Rocky Bushiri, Josh Campbell and Nathan Moriah-Welsh drop to the bench.

    It looks as though David Gray as switched to a 4-2-3-1 or similar for this one, having played three centre-backs at Celtic Park last week.

    Dundee captain Luke McCowan has reportedly been the subject of several bids from this afternoon's opponents, Hibs, but starts this afternoon.

    You feel it's in the script for him to have a big say in this game.

    Tony Docherty makes two changes from last week's thumping win over Airdrieonians in the League Cup.

    Jon McCracken comes back in for Trevor Carson in goal and Ethan Ingram is replaced in defence with Billy Koumetio

    Philippe Clement makes four changes following Rangers' League Cup win over St Johnstone last weekend.

    In the final switch, Danilo drops to the bench as Cyriel Dessers returns up front.

    Dundee and Rangers both have the chance to go top of the Premiership with victories as current leaders Celtic and Aberdeen, who are second on goal difference, do not play until Sunday.

    Actually, St Johnstone could too, but they would have to beat hosts Dundee United by an unlikely four goals and hope Dundee and Rangers do not win their games.
