Rubin Colwill, what have you just done!?

It's an absolute screamer from the Wales international who is around 30 yards out.

He looks to his right for an option to pass, and there's nothing on.

He lines up the shot and unleashes a thumping hit that smashes the underside of Joe Lumley's crossbar before going in.

Cardiff have barely had a sniff here, but they've levelled in stunning fashion.

You can't say it's not been coming! It's a great ball into the box from Pedro Lima to find Goncalo Guedes in the box. Vaclav Hladky makes a mess of his attempted clearance and the ball bounces off Guedes for his first goal for Wolves since January 2023.

It is like basketball match, it's end-to-end.

When Forest go forward they are so open at the back.

    Rubin Colwill (21 mins)

    What a goal!!!

Forget everything we said, Cardiff didn't need to create any chances when Rubin Colwill can hit them like this.

He smashes an absolute rocket from miles out and there's no stopping it.

It's into the top left corner and it's one of the best goals you'll see all season. Cardiff are level!

Nothing of note from Cardiff to trouble Southampton so far.

  13. Postpublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 28 August

    Nottm Forest 0-1 Newcastle

Almost 2-0 and almost a goalscoring return for Sandro Tonali but his shot is blocked by Carlos Miguel, who did much better for that shot than he did for Alexander Isak's early effort.

Nottingham Forest get cut open, they are playing a three at the back and it is one ball that cuts straight through.
