Josh Brownhill scored the winner as Burnley came from behind to beat Norwich City and move up to third in the Championship table.
Jose Cordoba opened the scoring at Carrow Road after just 63 seconds - his first goal for the Canaries.
But Zian Flemming equalised with a brilliant strike just after coming on as a substitute midway through the second half.
And Brownhill's tidy finish consigned Norwich to only their second defeat in 25 home matches.
Burnley, now unbeaten in eight matches, arrived in East Anglia with an excellent defensive record, having conceded just seven league goals this season.
But they had major problems at the back in the opening stages at Carrow Road.
First, Panama defender Cordoba was left unchallenged to head home Marcelino Nunez's right-wing corner.
Then, as the Clarets defence continued to look uncharacteristically flustered, keeper James Trafford had to dash to prevent CJ Egan-Riley's wayward backpass from ending up in his own net.
More problems followed for Burnley boss Scott Parker just before the quarter-hour mark when centre-back Maxime Esteve picked up an injury and had to be replaced by John Egan.
Parker had to make another change, this time in attack, just a couple of minutes into the second half, when Jeremy Sarmiento was taken off after landing awkwardly following a heavy challenge from Callum Doyle.
His replacement, Josh Laurent, immediately had a sight of goal on the right-hand side of the penalty area but was denied by Shane Duffy's saving tackle.
Luca Koleosho had an effort saved by Norwich keeper Angus Gunn as Burnley threatened - but they struggled to create clear-cut chances and would have gone further behind had Trafford not produced a fine double save to keep out Doyle's header and Borja Sainz's follow-up strike.
They proved to be crucial saves, because shortly afterwards the visitors levelled in spectacular fashion.
Josh Cullen took a quick free-kick, nudging the ball to Flemming 35 yards from goal, and the Dutchman took a touch before slamming an unstoppable right-footed strike into the top corner of the net.
And when Hannibal Mejbri floated in a ball from the right, Norwich defender Kellen Fisher tried to thwart Jaidon Anthony but inadvertently headed the ball towards Brownhill, who fired past Gunn.
From an almost identical position near the right-hand edge of the six-yard box, Emiliano Marcondes missed a stoppage-time chance to level for Norwich when he shot wide.
Norwich remain 12th and are now without a win in three matches. They are away to Sunderland on Saturday, while Burnley are at home to Watford.
'A tough one' - reaction
Norwich City boss Johannes Hoff Thorup told BBC Radio Norfolk:
"We switch off for a couple of moments and lose our eyes on the ball and the space we need to defend.
"We gave them a way back into the game with that free-kick where they score from distance. Of course it's a fantastic strike, but we have a couple of players with their back to goal who are not ready at that particular moment.
"That's not good enough against a top team in the league, because we know they need so few chances to score goals.
"It's a tough one for the team that after a performance like that we end up with zero points."
Burnley boss Scott Parker told BBC Radio Lancashire:
"We started the game poorly. First 45 minutes we were second best to a lot of things, didn't get going and conceded a really early goal.
"Second half, nothing but real praise for the team. We edged our way back into it, great strike from Flem and then we got our noses in front.
"There were big contrasts between the first and second half. The second half is a team that we need to be consistently in a division that is pretty relentless.
"That second half will put us in good stead. It's still early in the season really. We're nudging away and we need to keep improving."
